I have received at least 3 of these from banks I don't even bank at. Same thing asking you to sign in to your account. I don't think so.

Nothing new. I have been getting these occasionally for the past few years. Think one purporting to be Citibank was the first The others I was not aware even existed.

It's kind of amusing to see the spammers try to guess what bank I use. And it's a credit union, not even a bank!

These spams are NOT coming from the banks. They are from crooks trying to get info from you so they can rip you off. I keep getting spam from WaMu, I don't bank there so I called the local branch & was told this not being done by the bank.

These are simply fishing expeditions run by criminals to part a fool and their money.
Ignore all online emails from your financial institutions unless you signed up for them, and even then, your financial institutions will never ask you for your details as they know them already.

A more accurate term for these e-mails would be "phishing" These cannot be classified as "Spam" like the ones trying to sell you something to enlarge your penis etc etc.

These types of phishing e-mails are familiar to most of us here, and for us personally pose nothing more than an annoyance in the time it takes to delete them.
.
.
.But, they are one of the factors affecting Internet(Ebay) business for the last year and into the future. The growing awareness and fear of these types of dangers are causing many people to cut back on the use of the Internet. I don't know if anything can be done, but if it can not, then the phishing scams and other scams will grow and become more dangerous, and eventually lead to the the end of growth of Internet commerce. And if this happens, forget about spreading out your business among several on-line venues. Start looking to spread out off-line.

I have one question about these emails...they always start as "TKO Notice"...what does "TKO" mean? Technical knockout?
