Check this, from [email protected]. These are shirts I bought back in August:

Dear XX

Please be advised that the following auction:

3920816138 - Native American Flight of Shaman Silk Screen Shirt

was ended early by eBay. The auction was ended due to the account suspension of the seller.
All results for this auction are null and void.

Then another:

Please be advised that the following auction:

5309404197 - Blue Duo Crane Woman's Silk Screen Shirt

was ended early by eBay. The auction was ended due to the account suspension of the seller.
All results for this auction are null and void.

Those are real auction numbers. I posted positive feedback on August 17 - more than 7 months ago. The guy got new feedback on March 23rd, so the suspension occurred sometime in the last 24 hours. I don't see any real reason for a NARU. He had some neg's and neutrals because the Mountain t-shirts need to be ordered from the factory one at a time - takes a week or a little longer to ship - and people don't necessarily understand how this little company works, even though he describes the process in his ads. But feedback is 98.4%.

But I don't understand these notifications. I wish there was a way to respond.

I wish I could send eBay a digital photo of myself wearing one of these t-shirts.

Whatever happened to this seller, it wasn't fair.

Jack,

I already did that and I offered to help him fight the suspension.

I wonder - what about the people who bought his shirts in the last 90 days? If they wanted to take advantage of the situation and do a chargeback, would he be able to fight it? Would the "null and void" email from eBay help someone convince a CC company that the charge should be cancelled?

Meanwhile, the seller who stiffed me on a Halloween item - 17 days and 4 phone calls to get a refund - is now up to 20 neg's from 19 users and 11 neutrals - feedback is down to 94.2%. All of my emails to this seller bounced, so I reported her for ICI. The neg's and neutrals from other buyers have a consistent theme - most mention non-receipt or very slow shipping, combined with no response to emails. But no suspension.

The seller says he's involved in a dispute with eBay over some fees, and expects it to be rectified in a couple of days.

Even he was confused - thought I was talking about shirts that were currently on order, not shirts that were shipped and received in August.

I just re-iterated how old this was.

Imagine - eBay tells all of your customers going back months that you've been suspended, but you don't know that - the suspension is brief, just an administrative issue - then you re-start and are left wondering - where did all of my customers go?

My guess is that eBay is suspending seller accounts that have overdue unpaid balances.

probably..."overdue unpaid balances" I recieved a notice that one of my id's were about to be suspended because I have not paid my bill in over 2 months Apparently they weren't paying attention because it clearly states they OWE ME $1.35

I have not listed anything in several months, cancelled my store subscription resulted in a credit.

I feel bad for the seller. I bet he sees alot of chargebacks etc in the coming week...Thanks ebay
