Fenix -- I'm finally getting around to listing in the UK again. I have a question though. Would you by any chance know what internet connection most use in the UK? I'm thinking it's dial-up, but I'm not too sure. Thanks for any help!

Diane, all my relatives in England have dial up. My brother finds being online very expensive, the same cost as a phone call to me in Canada, so we only email each other at the weekend when the rates are lower. I think that auctions that take a long time to download could be a problem.

Amber -- That's what I thought, but I wasn't sure. It's so hard to get a good sized picture of the patterns clear. Even crunching it a little bit, makes it slightly blurry, but it's the best I can do! Thanks for your advice.

Most UK users are on dial-up so keep your graphic load time under 18 seconds by cropping and optimizing your jpegs. Broadband in the UK approximates the cost of several appendages i.e. an arm and a leg.
Adobe Photoshop is very good at optimizing for the web and worth every penny of the $5 (yes, $5.00) I paid for it. Hint you buy a really old version i.e. Photoshop v3 for next to nothing, then upgrade it to a later version i.e. v5.5 or 6 for a few dollars and save on buying the latest version (currently $650+).

Diane - I'm going to go with Agit on a couple levels here. I've never asked my customers about their connection speed (funny, never thought to ask either) so I'll defer to agits expertise on that one. Also, Photoshop absolutely is the best for photo editing. There is a "Save for Web" opton on recent versons that allows you to see your image at different quality levels and see the down load time at varous speeds. Picking up the older versions is also a great idea, I did the same for my step for Christmas.
Good luck on your UK sales!!

If it's really "common" sense, why do so few people actually have it?
