I don't think that is a new feature. The search does that when there are too many items for a given search term.

not when you search through 'advanced search', but typing into "normal" (what's that?) search into top left of the "other" ebay pages, it shows what glassgrl is saying .... their new 'search' givens are just not helping sellers, imnsho.
