Seems other sellers really like a couple of my images. One seller copied the jpg file & uploaded to Ebay for use in his auction (with my copyright still showing!).
Another has THREE auctions going with a link to my image in Vendio. (I modified the image to make it very clear that the seller is using a stolen image)
I email both sellers asking them to stop with no answer/no effect.
I also reported all the offenses to Ebay, multiple times over the past few days but have gotten no response and no action.
What gets me is that of the 6 active auctions for this item (including the only one with a bid), FOUR are using images stolen from me!
Any advice on how to get a response or some action from Ebay?
thanks

Why not pull your photos and replace them using the same link details and put something nasty in their place. or a note accusing them of theft.

Check your Vendio account. I have had my Vendio pictures stolen several times, and then have been charged 10 cents a picture because the stolen pictures were not used on an auction listed with Vendio. I have up to 20 pics on my auctions, and it can get very expensive. Vendio will remove the charges if you report it.

if I remember correctly - the last time this was asked - the answer was you have to register with VERO and then when you file a complaint Ebay will quickly respond.

Thanks all for your advice. Still no replies from Ebay, and the auction with the copied pics is still active. Since it has a bid I bet the seller probably can't edit it even if he wants to.
agate: I did just that for the ones with links. I finally got an email from the seller apologizing & he did remove the links.
tom: gee thanks for the offer
amber: that's what I expect too since this has happend to me in the past. However with the new image hosting plans you don't get charged for individual use like that. So the good news is that you don't have to file for a refund. The bad news is that you can't monitor your Vendio statement to look for others linking to your images.
glassgirl: gee I hope you don't have to register with VERO just to protect your listing text & images. I know I've reported theft-by-linking in the past and have gotten a pretty quick reply. In those cases Ebay terminated the auctions.

Here is eBays description for image and description stealing.
http://pages.ebay.com/help/confidence/vero-image-text-theft.html
Copy and paste the paragraph of importance and email the seller through ask the seller a question to the sellers using your images. Then send an email to eBay with sellers user ID using this email address and see what happens.

Hope this helps...

For somebody that links your photos (and not just steals them), make sure to add a nice little quote stating "IGNORE BID PRICE...WINNING BIDDER GETS ITEM SHIPPED TO THEM FREE OF CHARGE!"

Use slabholder's form. It is the correct one. If lots of people are stealing your pics, join Vero. Then you can just send eBay the numbers and they will end the auctions immediately.

The way to join VERO is to report an auction to them. It's no big deal to join and it doesn't cost anything. They will end the auction quickly and after several reports the thief will get suspended.
It you just report it to eBay they will wait until the auction ends to answer you.
Be kind. Everyone is fighting their own secret battles.

Thanks again all!
The last item has been resolved!! Just as I was about to submit slab's form (actually right after I hit "send" - natch!) I FINALLY got a response from Ebay. They apologized for taking so long to respond and had pulled the auction using the copied images.
