I've been meaning to bring this seller to your attention for about a month since I first found him/her/it. I just noticed that feedback has gone private so I thought I'd post my thread now. Since you can't see his feedback left for others the last time I looked he had left about 160 feedbacks of which about 59 were negs (if my memory is working correctly). All of the recent feedback he has left are negs, most of which are pretty nasty. I'm sorry I didn't post this earlier.

Of course my question is, would you buy from this seller? Myself, I'm not particularly impressed with his terms of sale but won't go into the details as I don't want to influence your comments.

I absolutely would not bid on any of his items based on the terms of sale (most of which he can't enforce). I have a feeling that those negative feedbacks came from bidders that didn't read his description and thought they were purchasing the actual post cards and not a reproduction. That's not the seller's fault. However, based on the manner in which he portrays himself in his terms of sale, I would not do business with him.

OMG What difference does it make if the buyers use sniping software? After reading the TOS, there is no way that I would buy from this person.

Can we sellers put a minimum dollar amount on the Paypal payments we accept? I wonder if Paypal knows that this seller only accepts payments by Paypal for $25.00 or more and his average per auction is $4.98.

His record isn't really too bad!

18 Negs out of nearly 4,000.

A lot of BS to read for a repo postcard.

dadofstickboy, the reason he doesn't get negged more is because he doesn't leave anything but negative feedback.

bizzycrocheting, some people didn't read that they were repros but just as many or more said the quality was bad.

I dont know how he would know if you used a sniping program or just bid at the last minute-anyone know?

I really like those terms

WHY would anyone care about snipers? They raise your selling price in the last seconds... How is that bad for a seller?

The example you posted has a six line description of the picture being sold and hundreds of lines of terms/antisnipe rant.

He's a nutjob, and I'd never buy anything from him.

And no, I never even went far enough to look at his feedback. The stuff on the auction page alone was enough to turn me off. Feedback isn't everything.

Charlie must have changed meds in the last month, as 16 of his 18 negs were earned during that time. He's been around since 1998.

WOW, why would you care how the bidder won, as long as they won?

I think that part must be some ploy to get more snipers on his auctions.

My favorite part is the $3 service charge to combine shipping.

If it's really "common" sense, why do so few people actually have it?

Sometimes some sellers (and buyers) have a hobby of confertation (?) rather than just bidding or selling. They are to be forgiven as they obviously have no real life.

This seller is asking to be sued!!.

Yikes!

Last time my parents caught me in an act of "confertation", I had to spend an hour in Father Flotsky's office!
