If you have the time and inclination to do some revision, you can delay paying the increased FVF by using the 120 term as long as it is started BEFORE 2/18 (not the GTC because they renew monthly and will not defer the new FVF past the ordinary renewal date).

Hi pierrelebel.
The customer support replied incorrectly. You can successfully defer the impact of this change by selling in 120 day format, provided your listing is live before the price change takes effect.
'm quite sure of this as I am involved in execution of change.

NOt so Dad o' - the 120 days listed today would end 120 days from now and therefore the new FVF wouldnt kick in until then

yes, but why do _all that work_ for basically pennies in "savings"? very labor intensive if someone has hundreds of store items, as i do. could spend that time creating new store listings. personally, i don't find the fee increases all that onerous. still a bargain for the exposure and traffic, imho.

agitprop - smart idea! actually did that at the first of the year, somehow in anticipation of rising costs. haven't had a single customer complain yet. if anything, sales have increased since i raised my s & h. go figure! but i ain't complaining. <grin>
