Paypal suggest that you change your password every month. Do any of you do that? I have only had 2 in 3 years, I find it hard enough to remember all my passwords now. Do you think it is necessary?

I finally got around to changing after 3 or more years. I have changed all of my passwords, to Vendio, P/P, E-Trade.

I changed mine recently, but I figure a hacker will guess a new password as easily as an old one And then I have to type the old one in first, get rejected, and then remember what the new one is before I can log in! LOL

I was just thinking about my passwords in general and I do have one question. Have you changed your Ebay password lately and was there any problem associated with that change?

I change my eBay pass every 8 weeks or so. Never a problem. On VD and PP I change it every 3-4 months. It is time to change VD.

The only thing about changing ebay password you have to go to PP so the PP logo can be inserted to your auctions, or did they stop that? Then change in on VD so they can retrieve your auction information and launch your auctions. On VD you have to go to your prefs and change ebay password.

I have changed my password but I found out that it is important to change with Ebay and your listing site also or it will not work.

What is the logic in changing passwords every two months, six months, etc.? Is it for peace of mind more than anything else?
Assuming you have a (good) password that has not been compromised, why change it? I think the scammers are getting enough passwords from the naive people that respond to the bogus eBay and PayPal emails and do not bother with trying to find a needle in a haystack.
