This is an old WWII Christmas card in our family effects. Can anyone tell me what the triangle symbol and number in the picture mean? Thanks!

Thanks, Tom and Ralphie! I'll be glad when I've sold all of Uncle Ben's stuff and can forget about all the army nomenclature. This card will be part of an old Christmas card lot.
