Toasted, you really should have posted a warning in your title.

My cat is freaked out. I am going to have give him whipped cream to soothe his nerves.

WOW...and I was just getting ready to go to bed before looking at this one. I think that will keep me up for at least an hour. Do you suppose they expect to get more bids with that background? That would be enough for me to click out of it just so I didn't have to see all the flashing. Looked like an bad acid trip!

this is the first in a week that I woke up without a sinus headache!

Oh, please, tell me what that's like? Is it pleasant? Do your eyes feel like they are IN their sockets instead of bulging out? LOL. I have a humdinger of a sinus headache this morning. And, you are right. Viewing this auction only made it worse. I just got bifocals a couple of months ago and I'm still not used to them. I was warned that I could have dizzy spells if I move my head too quickly and look down at the same time. I beg to differ with them. It can also happen looking at auctions like this one. I can picture myself at 16 sitting up against a wall and muttering, "Cool, man." Such were the 60's & 70's.

What were these people thinking? I would avoid these auctions as much as possible. This is the point I was making in another thread. Cluttered backgrounds, animation and bright colors only serve to send your bidders on their merry way. My eyesight is bad enough in my old age (sigh) without having an auction make it worse.

Any color blind men out there? I'd be interested in knowing what you see when you look at this auction.

Gadzooks! I hope the javascript police apprehend this villian forthwith. Just for fun right click anywhere on the page that is not a link. It looks like they are afraid someone will steal their new marketing tool! lol The other interesting thing is when you are looking at the page, watch the little computers on the task bar they are going non stop! And I thought welding flash was hard on the eyes!

Toasted;
IMHO your planter is a dresser caddie - caddy - valet

Despite the high cost of living, it remains popular

Toasted, my CAT saw your strange squirrel and licked it on the monitor screen for about 2 minutes. He then rubbed his but on the screen. He then went nuts....He is now outside destroying my azaleas.

Are you trying to break up my happy home?

Toasted...I actually had one of those lovely squirrels a few years ago and sold it as a planter. I thought he looked slightly demented, or maybe a crazed animal with rabies.

Just what in Hexx are they selling? I thought it was shoes. At least that was the heading, I never got beyond that. That ad could cause some one to black out with a seizure.

zircon4 - that doesn't require Java - that is dynamic html.

Did you notice, she has 1618 hits, and 1 bid!!!

Now, if she could get paid just $.10 a hit, she wouldn't have to waste time selling shoes.

Idea - send that ad link to everyone you dislike, or are mad at!

That flashing would drive me nuts - I can't imagine anyone thinking such is appealing...

My 16 year old daughter said cool page mom ugh so I guess this seller is reaching the right age group .I also wonder whats going through the sellers head with so many hits.
*sanmar ...yes it's shoes lol I don't blame you for not sticking around to see

Hi JWPC,
If you go to the top of the page and click 'View' then click on 'source' you will see that there is a ton of javascript. Yes I realise that the JS is what gives DHTML its functionality. My post was really just tongue in cheek. In any case if the JS police will not respond then it must be out of their jurisdiction. Maybe it should be handed over to the fashion police! LOL
Cheers,
Adrian

My CAT is hooked on looking at her auctions. When I put one on the screen my CAT acts as if I just fed him a pound of pure catnip.

OUCH! That gave me a headache and I only looked at it for 3 seconds. There must be some way to get that pulled :-p

On the photo of the ?squirrel? planter, I thought it was that character from the Simpsons (The itchy and scratchy show). Whatever it is, it is supremely ugly.
