A friend of mine sent me this link last night and since my trial period with McAffee had ran out, I downloaded it. I'm not sure how well it works yet, but it looks very very nice. I like the fact that it checks my incoming and outgoing Outlook mail, something HouseCall doesn't do. Thought I'd pass it along...

Just read it and it sounds good. I just purchased a norton disc off of ebay and if I had seen this I would have used it instead.
I wonder how they make any money.

I have Norton 2002 that I purchased last Sept. I get automatic updates free for a year & that is reason enough pay a little extra. I had 2 updates in the past week. I have had 2 worms in the past 3 months & Norton stopped them both. PC Magazine rates Norton # 1 & McAfee # 2. Is it worth it to rely on something without updates?

Judging by the info they make you enter, it would be by selling your email address and home address.
EDITED TO ADD: ALTHOUGH, I downloaded it, and it found 32 files infected with the Klez.E worm....33...34.....so far....now it found Nimda worm......58......59.......60
Thanks for posting this.

you're quite welcome
all my emails go out now with the little blurb on there saying "Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com).
Version: 6.0.370 / Virus Database: 205 - Release Date: 6/5/02" so I guess they get free advertising. Fine with me, I even think it looks pretty good!
