I posted here because I know some ebay members are on or were on Bidville. I used to have a premium account, but canceled months ago. Today, a $10 charge appeared on my paypal account (That is the card I used to charge this) - I had to do a chargeback request, beware that they may be charging when they are not supposed to.

I can't help with you a specific answer to your question, however if you have given Bidville (or any other auction venue) free reign to debit your PayPal account, watch out!

That it was paypal is irrelevant, because it was their debit card. They bill through a third party system, so I contacted them and blocked any future bills. Paypal was quite good at getting back to me, the forms are waiting to be mailed. Not a huge deal in that it is $10, but if they bill all their former custoemrs...
I left because of course, lack of business. The premium deal worked well for a while, I think I paid 10% that way, so I got $100 in credits a month for $10. I was using that to list items on their front page for only 50 cents instead of $5, and it cost about the same as ebay, and things were selling. However, business dropped off, and I stopped selling, so I stopped my membership. I have stopped listing there as well, For those types of items Yahoo makes more sense as there is more traffic there. I don't mind paying, but I expect something in return...

Just as a followup, I turned in the paperwork, and paypal contacted me today to let me know a credit would appear in my account tomorrow. That was pretty quick service...

Bidville is a huge waste of time for most auction sellers. The membership fee is a total waste of money, and the credits are worthless since the site doesnt advertise. For all it costs to list on yahoo Bidville is a joke.
