I have a stamps.com 5 lb scale and discovered the other day that it is 2 oz off on a 1 lb package. I need to find a more accurate scale that can handle at least 25lb packages. What are people using that works well?

Also I need a new printer for invoices and endcia labels. I am presently using an ink jet and it is to slow, also if the labels get wet they run. I think a two tray laser printer would be best (one for the labels, and one for plain paper). I want to spend less than $500 for this.

Thanks!

I love my BROTHER HL1440 -- $250.00 on sale most of the time!

If you scroll down to the bottom of this link, there is a scale that goes to 50 pounds. You can find them at auction on eBay (or at Staples).

I use their K5 (up to 5 lbs) and it's great. I'll have to spend another $4.95 to upgrade the postal chart in another week or so to handle the USPS increase.

I agree with tomwii - Brother makes some really nice laser printers. I have the HL1650 - its just over $425. I needed that - as opposed to the 1440 - because I print out two-sided pages very frequently.
