What is the lowest per-envelope price you pay for bubble envelopes, where do you get them from, and do you have to buy huge quantities for that price?

I buy my shipping supplies at ULINE - great selection, excellent prices, fast shipping. I believe there is no minimum order. I don't use bubble envelopes, but I assume ULINE is just as good with bubbles as it is with tubes, mailers, plastic bags, etc. (I am not an employee of shareholder of ULINE - just a satisfied user.) I just compared the prices at ULINE to my supplier and you might want to check the supplier I use. You can find him on Ebay at books241 or visit his store BookRackBooks. I know it sounds like a bookseller but he handles shipping items. Great prices-terrific service and fast shipping. I'm really pleased with this supplier. Hope this helps.

While this discussion is on price, I think there are issues of quality here as well. Not all bubble wrap or bubble envelopes are made the same. Some are inferior to others.
The best are made by Sealed Air which have more air, are harder to pop and deflate more slowly than others. I believe they own the trademark to "Bubble Wrap" and "Jiffy" and often distribute through papergoods and box suppliers.
I found this out when I bought small quanities at Staples, WalMart, the Dollar Store, etc. and stacked a dozen next to a ruler and measured; then I took one each and placed a ten pound weight on it for two weeks and checked to see if it held its air.
Did this to both envelopes and bubble wrap itself and the differences were startling.
Finally, check the delivered prices since these bubble items are often oversized and take hefty rates from UPS. In this case, local is better, and my distributor delivers for free in the Boston area. (with a minimum order of course)

I ship mainly using bubble envelopes and have compared 3 different companies - even made a chart with a price per envelope (including shipping) and quality comparison. I found Bubblefast to be the best. They may be cheaper for me because they're in Chicago and I'm in Milwaukee so the shipping made a difference, but their quality is great! I'm even willing to buy over 1000 at a time, and they were still cheaper shipping smaller or larger quantities.

I've been using John Hannon' goods at eBay for at least 3 years ( parrothead88 ) and he has great deals and combines s/h cost.
