I wondering if we can post a closed auction on EO? Can someone help me on this? If you remember the chrome tea kettle picture from about 2-3 weeks ago, then you'll find this just as funny, odd, outrageous, or huromous! I printed the auction. I couldn't believe it.

a link to any auction in order to promote the auction or discuss the seller. If the Moderator believes than an auction is being promoted, or that the seller or bidder is being discussed, he/she may lock the thread and/or delete the post or thread
In other words, as long as the auction itself is the topic of discussion, and NOT the seller or bidder/s, then technically, it's allowed. The problem is that links to auctions inevitably lead to discussion of the identified Seller and the Mod team have to close the thread.
Can you rely on your fellow AWers not to discuss the involved parties?
