I've been on the fence on using AW for my auctions....I'm in bad need of a system that saves my auctions for relist as I sell a lot of the same things over and over......what do you think the recent announcement of staff reductions at AW will do to their service?

Uhhhh I sure wouldn't go for their year plan as a lot of people feel they might be getting burned on that
Just make sure you make contingency plans to relocate in case they go out of business, and check the support/feedback section on these message boards to see what your in for.

There are plenty of alternatives out there (I won't bother listing them since the AW censor crew seems to still be employed and they don't like legitimate competition to be listed. Not sure why they don't have the confidence in letting their own products speak for themselves, but maybe that's the problem).
You can use ebay tools too if you don't have too much volume

Auctionwatch provides a very good and valuable service. You should definately try it. The best advice you could get is that you should try at least two services and see which one you would want to use. Definately try this one. The other one I would recommend trying is ChannelAdvisor. These are the only two service that I would consider. Each one has strengths that recommend. For example, if you're doing a heavy volume in either value or quantity of auctions use CA, if you're a light user sign up for the pay as you go service on AW. But really, get a sense of the look and feel of each service before you choose. Each of us has our own needs and likes.

Their non participation in this and other threads (auctionwatch) certainly suggests a problem. I've seen them intervene before on things like this. Not that you can't say anything bad about auctionwatch, that has been allowed, but to not come in to give reassurance about their future is somewhat alarming!
The sky's not falling There has been no need for intervention on this thread because there haven't been any promotional posts requiring attention.

Take a wander around the links on AW's Home page. AW is very simple to use, automatically saves your auctions for relist and AmPro allows bulk listing offline at your convenience. Give it a try - it's so simple even *I* can use it
