It's a little more than just "everything else"

Here is their announcement:

Dear Half.com Member,

You’ve asked for more products to buy and sell and we’ve listened! Today we are proud to announce the addition of Software to our Computers category as well as a brand new category called Everything Else.

Browse through our Software inventory, including Computer Games, Business & Office applications, Graphics packages, Educational programs and much more. Software can be found within the Computers tab of our homepage.

Also, you can now buy and sell almost anything with the launch of our new expanded marketplace...Everything Else. You’ll find great opportunities to sell more items and shop for bargains on everything from tools and toys, to home goods and office equipment, as well as, garden items, jewelry, musical instruments and so much more!

If you don’t see the item you wish to sell we encourage you to use the New Item Listing Form available when you Sell Your Stuff.

We encourage you to check back often as the shelves of Everything Else fill with our sellers treasures! If you have any questions, be sure to visit our Help Desk.

Best wishes,

The Half.com Team

Geez..I still don't see no collectibles categories. Just throw them under Everything Else???

Now if they would just let the sellers have their $$$ within a couple of days instead of holding it for weeks on end, I wouldn't mind listing a few thousand items.

I went through the motions to see how you list, and one thing I noticed is that in this category they do not use shipping allowances. You can specify a shipping method and rate and calculate a total price. Half.com will take it's commission off of that. At least that was the impression I got. Some listings specify they ship Priority, others ground".

Wish someone there would have had the bright idea to get the site moving just a bit faster (than Slow!) before they enlarged it!

keziak - that is the way they handle it for the Trading Cards category.

They take 15% of your total price, including the shipping. So you either need to bump up your shipping or be sure your item price can cover the 15% on the whole amount.
