I have been searching for a copy of the Wednesday, Sept. 12 edition of USA Today. I collect newspapers of special significance, and this one has special meaning to me.
I spent over twenty years in the fire service and am going on my 26th year in EMS, the last ten as a Paramedic. So many of my brothers and sisters are now missing, it has really touched home.
I searched for this on ebay, and in their "Auctions for America" section without much luck. I only found one, and it was already up to $36.00. We had to run on several emergencies that wednesday morning and I didn't get to stop by a news stand until afternoon. By then, they were loonnggg gone.......

I was going to clean out my car this evening, so good thing I saw your post now. I have that copy in the back floorboard of my car. It is a little wrinkled from where I had read it. If you want it, e-mail me [email protected] and we can work something out.

And I won't charge $36 dollars for it either...geez
Actually, that issue around here had lots of extra copies that went unsold. Wish I had known of the demand on ebay for them, I would've got them and given the money made for charity. Would've been better than them being thrown away like they were.
