This is probably stupid but I visited the Microsoft web site and read about the patch for the W32.Nimda virus. It says the patch is for IE 5.01 and higher. I'm using IE 5.0. What do I do?????

I have searched everywhere and cannot find a patch to fix windows 98. I hate change so haven't upgraded in a couple of years but read we are still vulnerable.
Anyone know where I can get one to fix it? I have searched all over the microsoft site.

Anyone using Internet Explorer (no matter what version) needs to keep up on the patches etc. While in IE, go to Tools, then select Windows Update. This will take you to the MS page, and will "read" your system. In the following screen, you will be given a list of updates, broken up in catagories.
Do all of the Critical Updates, which should be in a Package, so you just do the one download. Follow the onscreen instructions. You don't have to upgrade to IE 6 to do this.
