Hi! I've never sold clothing on eBay, and like I've said before, I'm just a "closet cleaner." But, I've got a couple of maternity items that I bought (either eBay or from store and can't return) that I've got up for sale. I know my descriptions are poor, and I'll never be selling clothing again - I just wanted to share them with someone else as larger maternity clothing is very expensive.
I need some measuring help. I've got a jumper for sale, and a lady has emailed me to ask the bust measurement. I do have all measurements that I could get listed, but this is a jumper with the overall-type top. Technically, it's kinda open where the bust is. I can't put it on me and measure because it's way too big (I overestimated myself), so, how do I get an accurate bust measurement???

How about sending her the measurement taken at the underarm? Is it a tank top type jumper? Measure around at that underarm area, and then maybe measure how far it is from the shoulder seam down to that measurement. If the arm holes are large as is typical on most jumpers, this is going to be a bit below the actual bust area.
I just popped over and looked up the auction in question. I'm not sure how anyone would look at the picture and not realize there is no bust area to measure. You gave the measurement for the drawstring area, perhaps send this person the measurement from the top of the shoulder straps to where the drawstring hits. It looks like it would be below the bust to me. You could measure the panel area of the bib to help them realize how much of their front would be covered.

Thanks! I'll try that and see what happens. Yes, the drawstring is definitely below the bust area. I guess she just wants to make sure it will fit her. For which I am grateful-I don't want any returns!!
