I had an auction close this morning and when I got home tonight I had a nasty email from a disgruntled bidder accusing me of ending the auction early. I didn't. It ended at 11:15 am.
After re-reading her email I think she thought the auction was ending at 11.15 pm. How can I explain this to her since my auction listing only shows the 11:15 but doesn't mention am or pm?
By the way, she is threatening to leave negative feedback.

If it was supposed to end at 11:15 PM it would have said 23:15 since ebay runs on a 24 hour clock.
edited to add: If they're only a bidder how can they leave neg feedback??? Only the winner can leave feedback.

Was she the high bidder? If not, she *can't* leave you negative feedback.
You can also tell her that Ebay goes by Military Time. For it to end at 11:15 PM your auction would have said it ended at 23:15.

Ebay uses the Military Time thingy...11:15 is AM 23:15 is PM. Tell the bidder that.

Tell this bidder that ebay operates in military time, so 11:15 PM would be 23:15 PM on ebay, as any random search of auctions would tell her.
But she can't leave feedback unless a transaction was completed, so I wouldn't stress too hard.

Was this during an outage? Maybe she tried to bid (or just to come back to it as a bookmark/watched auction) and wasn't able to and assumed that the auction had closed early.

There is also the matter of different time zones which may mess up new bidders.
