Hi I bought a Louis Vuitton purse on ebay and the ad said if your not 100 % satisfied I'll give you your money back.Well I won and when I got the purse it is a complete fake a good fake but never the less its fake. Now I was going to email the seller and ask for the money back but as I reread the ad it never did say it was real. So should I just eat it or ask for a refund?
thanks

Well, you could always point out to the seller that LV knockoffs infringe on LV's own copyrights/trademarks, and that if somebody turned him in to LV, he'd get booted off ebay and probably have their LV's legal department down his shorts - and then see what he has to say
Can you email me the auction #? I'd be interested to see how the auction was worded. [email protected]

Make no threats before you get the money. Just politely ask for your money back and I'm sure they will oblige since it is in the TOS.

Sorry - I should've put a tongue-in-cheek smilie with my last post. Of course that should be used as a last resort.
I've taken a look at the auction, and it represents the item (which has no pic) as a Vuitton item, including noting certain accoutrements peculiar to Vuitton stuff. No indication that it is, for example, "Vuitton-like". Two of this seller's 4 negs are for misrepresentation, although in her defense she replies that these folks never contacted her before negging.
You've definitely got a case for a refund simply based on misrepresentation. Go for it. Don't yell and don't get into details at this point; just say "I am not satisfied with this item. Please instruct me how to obtain a refund." (I'd insist on shipping both ways, myself, since it's not bidder's remorse.) If she wants to know why, THEN say "It's not authentic." If she balks, then politely remind her about VERO.
