Actually, that's an excellent price, especially if they were a high thread count Egyptian cotton (virtually the finest in the world, along w/Sea Island cotton).
I recall when Porthault (Geez I hope I spelled that correctly, it's been a while) sheets could easily run $500 A SHEET.
If you've ever slept on any, you'll never want to go back..it's like sleeping on a cloud.
