Is anyone else having trouble logging into the Ebay discussion boards? I keep getting an error message that says the server was unable to set a cookie in my browser. I've never had this problem before, and I have my browser set to accept cookies? Any ideas besides clearing the cache?

Nothing that mattered was working on eBay the last two evenings - why should the boards?
Why go there anyway? It is all socializing by a bunch of cronies. This is a much better place.

Eh, guess I'm one of the cronies, and I divide my board time between both places....'sides, the Ebay boards pay me occasionally, which helps keep the charges on my CC down. LOL!

ebay has done their usual Fri AM maintenance and as usual nothing there is working for me. I can't get in to any of their pages.

Well, I don't know what the exact process is, other than "someone" recommends you, but occasionally a thank you email and a $10 credit will show up for participating in the boards. I suspect it's when one of the pinks thinks you've been particularly helpful and recommends you. They're getting fewer and farther between lately, but every little bit helps.

That's pretty good. If they paid for being crabby and sarcastic I'd give it a shot.
My apologies for the crack - it was a little nasty.
They really were not functionalityenabled
last night. Did my listing OK this morning.
If it is inconvinient for the snipers too bad.

I did notice that there have been NO messages posted today in any of the boards at ebay and also I am unable to send BillPoint invoices. Can't get past the sign-in screen which comes back with Internal Error. So yes, I would guess they are having problem as usual. Just my 2½¢.

Pickersangel: Ah! "Skippy bucks"! I have some myself-too bad I don't sell. And I noticed that the amount bestowed for "being helpful" was reduced from $25 to $10. Either people were being too helpful and they were running outta money or they decided the help wasn't worth as much.

I've suspected reason #2, although #3 is certainly a possibility after the "don't call us; we won't call you" attitude that's been exhibited for the last couple of days....granted, I'm probably less enthusiastically helpful and great deal more jaded in my responses lately (don't some of these people read previous threads before posting?????), but I do miss my skippies.
