We know there WILL be fees on some services - Mark Dodd told us so - and there is nothing wrong with that. Just would like to know when and on what - and as I said the grapevine say this week......Rosalinda

I'd like to see fees on posting in the forums...that'd separate the men from the MBA's.

"Word on the street"? What street?

Roz,
This is not like you. Give your source, URL, whatever. Support this unless we can expect an opening of yet another gossip board.

I know fees for the PSM module of Auction Manager were mentioned long ago. Hope they're not too hefty....I'm addicted!!!!

Anyone who's been following ANY tech news or market news would presume that AW will be charging for services sooner, rather than later.

AW is majority owned by CMGI, also owner of AltaVista, which recently laid off a HUGE number of employees.

This was planned all along -- an early interview with Rodrigo Sales spoke of the huge amount of free viral advertising they were getting from AW banners on eBay auctions.

It is not interesting to me that they intend to change for AW services, but I am curious in learning who actually signs up for NON-free services.

rox ===> IF you are asking a serious question, as opposed to having been asked to spread this info PRE-announcement to squelch hostility ----

nevermind.

I'll just say that your post strikes me as PHONEY.

Pickersangel: thanks. Well, I don't use any of that--just use AMPro to *launch* auctions.

Hi All--

This has been an interesting thread to follow.

Just to update you on this subject, AuctionWatch will at sometime in the future charge for its Post Sale Management services but at this point there is no date set to do this in the near or distant future. Be assurred that we will give all of our customers ample notice before we implement this change.

Hope this helps and gives you more information!

Chris
