Have you noticed an affect on your auctions during the Olympics? Do you see and increase or a decrease?

Mine seem to be picking up each day.
I don't notice the olympics getting in the way. (or monday night football)

don't seem to be affecting the bidding, however, I keep looking at the TV instead of writing descriptions, so they are affecting my auctions.

Hasn't affected my auctions, but certainly my enjoyment of tv! IMHO, summer olympics are boring and apart from the odd softball game, I don't watch them. OTOH, I find the winter olympics much more entertaining ...

RB--I am with you as far as the events. I do enjoy the gymnastics, but apart from that, I like watching the winter sports better.

My auctions have been abismal lately and I was just trying to find a reason. They were very good in August, but dropped off. It surprised me because I figured once the kids went back to school, people would be home and available to do auctions, but it seemed to work just the opposite on my auctions. I quit listing for a bit and will try again later this week.

labbie1, I was having the same problem and I think I've finally figured it out. I don't know about everyone else, but my bank account is just now getting back on its feet from back to school shopping and school started here on August 7th! For me it's like the crunch I go through every year after Christmas, so maybe other folks have the same problem. Kids sure are expensive these days!

WHAT Olympics?

So far all I'm seeing on TV is a bunch of human interest stories & no sports. Turned it on last night & thought I'd gotten Biography on A&E instead.

Less warm fuzzy stuff...SHOW US THE SPORTS!
