I am always blathering on about Yahoo, but have to report that I listed 13 items on Ebay 10 days ago give or take.

1/2 of them closed today, the rest close tomorrow. Every one of them has sold, all but one for far more than I anticipated.

I will be bery graciously paying my ebay bill this month, credit where credit is due.

I'm glad to hear your eBiz is doing so well - You deserve excellent sales.

Just be VERY careful at the EOA, as several people are learning that the auction results in MyeBay are INCORRECT.

Go read Reddeer's post, "this is SCARY..."

Congrats to you VeryModern! I think things are finally starting to pick up. I know that my auctions are ending with multiple bids, whereas over the summer I was lucky to get my starting bid price! Hope it's a sign of things to come.

Much luck for continued success!

Credit due to the BUYERS, who have finally come back to the site to BUY for a change, instead of just window shop.

yeah, I have had a bad deadbeat problem on ebay, probably 1 in every 3 or 4 auctions. I generally only run a few auctions on ebay a month but this is my experience over the last 6 months, limited as it is.

Today's bids seem good based on the fast responses and everything has multiple bids so I feel I could sell to bidder #2 if there is a default.

It might just be that I am in high tide, but I just had to note that the turnout this week was the most impressive I have seen in a long while. I was not selling anything spectacular. I expected 90% of it to go for the opening bid (if I got an opening bid) and instead I have 4,5,6,7 and 8 bids on each.
Gotta love that!
