Okay, this is weird. I have 1 auction out of 20 that is showing up on AW but not showing up on under My Ebay's seller stuff or on my listing if you do a seller search. The weirdest thing is, it has a bid!!! How do I get it to show up.

Help!!! Newbie panic attack approaching rapidly.

The good news is - I got my 50th feedback point today. Happy Dance!

Congratulations! Where, exactly, is the item "not showing up"? Does a search on Ebay by item number return the listing for the item? Does it show up on your "My Ebay" list? Did it get listed to Amazon or Yahoo by mistake? That's one limitation of posting to the AW boards--since we can't give item specific information, it's really tough to very focused help in cases like this. I'd suggest posting to the Ebay "Auction Listings" discussion board, so someone can take a look at the listing and maybe give you some suggestions.

sjl1017Have you had a chance to check the Help board? Perhaps others have the same problem and you might read their answer? Good luck..

Under Auction Watch - If I look at my "control panel" on it shows up. If I click on the auction title in the control panel it shows up.

In Ebay - If I look under "my ebay" under the "selling" tab it doesn't show up.

If I go into one of my auctions and hit the "sellers other auctions" link it's not in the list. If I do a seller search under my name it's not there. But if I do a title search it is there. And if I search by item number it's there.

AAACCCKKK!!!

sjl1017,

I don't know if this is the answer but I have seen others recommend sending an email to [email protected] and asking them to reset your seller list.

Hope that helps,

Hi! Don't panic! As long as the item has your name as seller when you click on the item number, you're OK. I've done about 5,000 transactions on eBay and this has happened to me maybe 3-4 times. The item doesn't show up in my seller's list, but it's there on eBay and gets bids. I've never been able to figure out how to make it show up on my list, and I didn't find the eBay people helpful. Let us know what you did if you do manage to get it to show up in your list.

Thanks all!!! I went to the ebay help board and I'm not the only it's happening to, which makes me feel a little bit better. I posted there and I'll drop a note to time sensitive to reset me!

Thanks again, you "guys" are great. I'll go back to my regularly scheduled breathing now.

The solution is quite simple. Go to AW and click on the ebay item page that is not showing up. Do a "revise" and just change one itsy thing (add a period, a space, etc) anything and then save it. Do this for all auctions not showing up and then check your my ebay page and it should have cycled through. It's a pain, but it happened to me twice now and the solution worked both times.

You don't even have to change anything...just tell it you want to 'revise'...then just scroll through the pages as IF you had revised.

I usually catch these right away (and I get at least one with every batch I list), so always get them before they get a bid; however, I think if you open it to 'add information' after it has a bid, it will have the same effect.

Thanks all! The problem, whatever it was, is fixed now. The Timesensitive folks reset me and my auction is now there...bid and all! At least now I know what to do for the next time!!!

Let me shed some light on the subject.I have reluctantly become an expert on this matter. I list between 50-60 auctions a day. Without fail every single day ebay "misses" some of those auctions. They do launch on ebay, but they do not show up on a seller search or my ebay. This has been going on daily for at least 6 months. I have written to ebay explaining the problem. I have to email [email protected] every single day requesting that they manually reset my seller list. This is currently the only way around it. Ebay's response for 6 months has been: "we are aware there is a problem, and our engineers are working on it". Their explanation of the cause of this is that AW launches the auctions so quickly that some of the auctions are somehow "slipping through" the seller search and my ebay system, but are however being listed.Hope this helps.
