I am so confused!!
I was looking at posts form the past year and notice something that I don't see here now. It is a godish green bold underline sometimes used on the topics list or in a post. I have posted a thread here. Since I read this thread when it started and don't remember this line maybe someone can help me out???

Are you talking about a thread or post originated by an AW moderator or staff member? They are highlighted a different color than the ones originated by regular posters like us.

Wondering why you picked that locked thread as your example, caravaggio? Any reason?

There is no special reason I picked that thread. I had been looking around and ran into that one and decided to read over it again to make sure that it ended like I remembered it- Not saying how cmbt was or if she found a solution to her problems. Didnt notice it was locked. There are certain words underlined. Transportation, jobs, computer, etc. Even in the listing of the threads, there were some words underlined. In the first post, second paragraph, employer is underlined. First post, third paragraph, job is underlined. Maybe it is just my computer. Does no one else see it?

Caravaggio, I do not see the underlines. It must just be you.

Hmph. That is odd. I don't see them in any recent posts. I am befuddled

I see them. They're only under certain poster's posts. Most of those posters have been eliminated now, so the green line must be an administrative marking to guide the exterminators.

Adminstrative markings?

Uh-oh, isn't that an old baseless rumor?

How about that.

And, I think that it's significant that only those words pertaining to the giving of money and merchandise are underlined.

Carravaggio,

It's my opinion that this thread needs an explanation. What is your motive in focusing so much attention on this pitiful thread?

If this business cannot be discussed openly, then why post it at all?

Helen

Reading that thread made me realize just how much I enjoyed HCQ's intelligence. Yeah, she could be rough, but what she offered in sound advice many times countered that roughness.

Strange, isn't it? What one reads from a few months ago about someone's posts only to see a complete change a few month later.

edited to add that I didnt see any green or gold lines.

Spaz Your opinion means so much to me, thanks for stopping by to give an opinion on this thread

Has promised, these threads have the same little lines. As I have said before I meant nothing by posting the original thread that I posted. If I wanted to discuss anything having to do with that thread, I would have posted in the thread I started about the person. I didn't think before I posted and really saw nothing wrong with it.

Well, I feel left out! I only see the same-'ole, same-'ole.....No red lines, no green lines so secret code, no nothing!!!

What browser are you, or the others who see these lines, using??????

Maybe only special people can see them...maybe those "black helicopter" guys are up to no good or maybe AW is working with them and keeping an eye on us by embedding previously unheard of high tech spy stuff that only certain users can see??????

If you can see it, does that mean you are one of the "good" guys or one of the "bad" guys????

I just loooove "conspiracy theories"....brings out the paranoid in me!!!

edited 'cause I left out my winkie face...can't leave out my winkie face, I just love that little winkie thingie!!!!!

After thinking about this for awhile I have come to realize exactly what this is.

YOU, Caravaggio, have an Alien spellchecker living inside your computer!!! It is afraid to show itself in any but old, dusty threads. You have discovered it's existence and now you will have to be eliminated! Sorry.

If it was me, I'd panic and run for the hills. But that's me.

problem solved

constraindays=365

What exactly does that mean? Its in the url of two threads listed up there in caravaggio's post. I have never seen that before, in thread urls. Also, when I click on it, it wont load, but the others do. Anyone else know what CONSTRAINDAYS means??

Well, I had the same problem (couldn't get them to load at first) but when I finally did get them to load, it was the EO message center and looked like a listing of all topics/threads done there for the past year......but no red/green underscores.

Constrained is the way that all archived threads are listed.

Caravaggio,

I think you are playing games with everybody.

Now, you have removed the original thread that you were so concerned about.

Why don't you just erase the entire thread?

How could I not stop by? I saw a thread with the words "Need Help" and "Hurry Please" in the title and thought somebody might be in a real jam.

What a relief to discover that it was just another bid for attention.
