--->meet at the Wet N Wild Las Vegas near the Sahara Hotel----
Wet N Wild closed last year. There is a water park in Henderson but not sure where it is located.
Remember to count me in and anything you want me to check on just let me know. I also live in a little one bedroom apt so don't have an extra room but if I had a house we would really have a party!

Oh my word...I just checked the website for the Green Valley Ranch! Their rooms are SO expensive....ouch! It does look like a fabulous place to eat.
Would love to join all of you but will be going to the UK in September to visit my MUCH older brother & sister! I would much rather go to Las Vegas!!

I live in Vegas as well.
There are still plenty of bargains to be had.....
OFF THE STRIP!
People who live here don't gamble on the strip, they rarely dine on the strip.
The slot machines have low "tourist trap" payouts. And the food is no longer cheap.
I'd recomend doing your entire Vegas adventure on one of the perimeter properties. Like a Stations Casino, A Coast Casino, The Fiesta or the Cannery.
The Stations and Fiesta for example have $10.99 dinner buffets. They also all have 24 hour cafes with incredible bargains on food.
Slot machines have higher payouts so the $20 you put in a penny machine will last 3-4 times longer in a perimeter property than on the strip.
Take one evening and "Do The Strip" and see all of its coolness.
Since you apparently all have plenty of time to plan for this event.... I SERIOUSLY RECOMMEND buying the Entertainment book at entertainment.com for Las Vegas. They are only $10 and using one single coupon will get your investment back. It is also loaded with attraction coupons.
I like my penny slots, and having played in every casino if I were to go play TONIGHT I would only go to the Cannery, A Fiesta, or a Stations Casino. The odds are better.
Actually forget what I said.... I want you all to LOSE BIG TIME! It's tourist gambling money that keeps the fine folks of Nevada from paying STATE INCOME TAXES!

The biggest convention in Vegas is the one which sells dollar store items,if you folks want to see Vegas, kill 2 birds with one stone and plan on going to that convention, but hotel rooms would be hard to find.

If you decide to go and choose an off-Strip hotel, you can book now.
I always stay at the Residence Inn Hughes Center when in Vegas. It has many excellent restaurants and a Starbucks close by, free wireless and of course you get a full kitchen in typical Residence Inn style. The 1 bedroom suites sleep four or more. It's only a few blocks to the Strip.

Las Vegas is fun for the gamblers, you win and you go and eat and come back and give it all back!

We should call this a "Convention" or meeting of Vendio users. That way some of the cost can be written off as a business expense.
We will have to have seminars, etc. to qualify. Think about it.

I have a place to stay anytime I want it. My Brother lives there, so it could be double duty for me. Meet all the vendioers and visit family.
Maybe we could go when KQRS does there morning show in November. They usually do it around the 15th or 16th. They have done it in the past at the Aladdin, but that could change as it is now or going to be very soon, Planet Hollywood.
They chartered about 8 planes last year from the Twin Cities.

I think it's a great idea to have "workshops" or a seminar or two while you meet. It should truly be deductible expense. Surely you'll be talking a lot about the ups and downs of selling on the internet!?! Very simple--just pick a time each day when everyone sits around, drinks coffee or such, and have a leader to guide the discussion and keep it on track. An hour should do it.
My high-school gang reunion last fall in Scottsdale actually had three 1-hour sessions daily--and we weren't even trying to deduct anything! We wanted to know how everyone was doing, what they were thinking about politics, religion, how the two gay guys in our group out of 10 total (!) had done with their lives, etc. Each of us took a turn as group leader and we had a ball. Some of us hadn't seen each other since the mid-60s. Granted, we were all staying in two big suites, so it was easy to get together. We met right after breakfast, late in the afternoon before dinner, and about 9 p.m.
An idea--couldn't this be a journey to Vegas to meet with experts on selling on eBay? We do have one or two in our group who actually live there. . . .
Of course, you all will be out carousing at all hours, so you'd need to find one good time daily, I guess. Gee, I may even join you!

Maybe we could talk some of the Vendio staff into meeting us there!
Business meeting to discuss Vendio services and THEN we get to go out & play.
My plans for the UK are slipping off into oblivion so we may just be able to come to Vegas.

Ralphie ONLY plays BACARRAT -- he's sooooo suave and de-bonner in his little Wayne Newton TUX, grunting "Banquo! Banquo!" and, "That Alpo should be shaken NOT stirred"
