I did terrible (I knew better than to load the 20 cent day with 500 listings...I usually only do that when the sale is 10 cents or less).
But, has anyone considered that the count is probably down just because the UK listings are no longer in there?
I know they were a minimum of 1/3 of all listings and even higher in some categories.

I just looked at the medved listing counts and the sell-through counts. Horrible. I know that I'm getting discouraged over selling on eBay (Amazon still limps along fairly well with the books). Because I sell for the fun of it and the joy of adding something to our family coffers, instead of having to support myself, I've sold things I like to sell and feel proud of--books and collectibles. Rather than turn to drop shipping or buying stuff I hate at wholesale, to resell on eBay, I'll quit.
And, yes, when I see those ads touting the "sell on eBay" courses and books, I laugh.

I really hate that ebay has gotten to the point it has..where they have lots of big business accounts and way too many bells and whistles.
I started selling on ebay 10 years ago and used to sell everything I listed. It was so much fun to watch your bids go up and be so surprised at the end. Now, I struggle to sell 1/3 of what I list and a lot of the time it is for the starting bid. I still sell mostly for the fun of it but I retired in December and the extra money helps but is not a "gotta have" Thank Goodness. I will probably keep right on selling as yes...I admit it...I am addicted.
Does anyone really have a great sell thru rate now? I would be very interested to know and bet a lot of other people on this wonderful board would also.
