Some of you know that I lost my second (my other) job 2 weeks ago when the store filed bankruptcy and abruptly closed without warning. Poof. No second income.

This morning while taking my daughter to school I heard a job announcement on the radio for Sheetz (like 7-11) where they needed someone M-F from 6 a.m. - 9 a.m. PERFECT FOR ME! It doesnt' interfere with my main job, at all, ever, no weekends, no nights, no holidays.

I went today and interviewed for it and I think it went well. I go back Monday for paperwork.

Cross your fingers

Thanks Glassgrl.

I think my losing that job through no fault of my own isn't really all that funny.

I'm excited at the prospect of finding somethign that works completely around my main job, the one that I love the most.

BTW ~ I got a package from you today

Thank you

Helga: That's just great. Didn't we all tell you that something would come along?

And. . . what is Sheetz?

It's Spanish for diarreah.

Sorry Roadsmith, I couldn't resist. The devil made me do it

It's like a 7-11, WaWa, Turkey Hill, etc. A big chain convenience store found in PA, VA, OH, etc.

Bumping this up now )

I got the job!

I got the phone call this afternoon. I passed my drug screen (duh!) and I start tomorrow morning ) This job fits so well with my other jobs schedule, there is no interfereance at all, ever for anything. No nights, no holidays, no weekends while my other job is nights and weekends. I'm happy and it's a big relief. It's not a dream job or anything but when you live in a "you've gotta do what you've gotta do" situation it's exactly what I need.

No I'm not leaving here or eBay (sorry stonecold)...

This job is only 15 hours a week, 3 hours a day. The only thing it will interfere with or effect (affect?) is my sleeping in the a.m.

Today went alright. It was kind of boring ~ I had to do computer training stuff and watch video's that said things like "eating a pickle from the food bar is stealing!"

Tomorrow I actually get to start learning what I'm supposed to do.

The upside of working at a Stop-and-Rob in the morning?
The crack addicts are still sleeping! Less chance of armed robbery!
Yay!
