$2.15 in Milwaukee, down from $2.21 a week ago. Expecting another raise shortly as the crude price is up.
Oh yeah, we also get an automatic gas tax increase April 1st, thanks to our great legislature. We get one EVERY year.

$1.999 for regular yesterday in Eastern North Carolina.

Today the price went up to $2.059.

This is at the cheapest place in town. Other stations had prices ranging $2.049 to $2.079 yesterday. I didn't check the prices at the other stations today.

Glad I gassed up yesterday - saved myself a whopping 78 cents!

Alaska? I'm waiting for Alberta Canada's
oil sands to cough up their 174 billion barrels in crude oil reserves. Oh sure it might take a bit longer to sift it out but they do and will. Next to Saudi Arabia, Alberta has some black gold in them thar sand of thars.

Sad day when we get oil from AK.
I suppose the AK's love that check they get.
Sigh.

It's eventually going to run out. Alternatives should be considered.
Dumbya and ilk think coal for energy. LOL.

It's 2.16 in my burg. Driving less.

max40 it is going to be higher because we use reformulated gas in the areas around I94. From the lake west past Union Grove. You don't get good MPG either. Tough to do garage sales at those prices. Time to buy a bike. I did meet a gentleman that bought a tandem bike at the goodwill on S 27. Now that would be the thing.

Anchorage, $2.05.

Last week is was about $1.80.

It is nice to get a check every year. The most we've ever gotten is about $1500.00. Last year it was about $950.00. Prices are based on the return on the stock investments of the previous 5 years.

Sthoemke...You got that right. It amazes me that people are so focused on the price of gasoline, but ignore the price of luxuries. How many people actually sit down to calculate the price per gallon of Coke, Pepsi or even bottled water? You want a real shocker, check the price per gallon you pay for beer. Next time you go the grocery store, take a pocket calculator and figure out the cost per gallon for the vinegar and oil you'll use for salad dressing. Don't forget to check also a can of ordinary soup. And none of the items I mentioned involved built in transportation charges from the other side of the planet.

$2.08 in The Florida Panhandle. One night it was 1.89 and the next morning $2.08! Ouch.

Where in KY is it $2.19? I have to drive up to western Ky Tuesday. It is usually .10 to .15 cheaper in Hopkinsville than in FL.

$2.19 here in Cleveland, OH. It was $2.08 yesterday morning. I'm sorry, but the excuses given for the high price of gasoline are bull crap. Our heating fuel bills are out of control, as well. Most of my eBay profits last week went to send a gas bill payment - over $300 for one month. We've kept the thermostat on 68, too!

I paid $2.00 last night to fill up Northern New Hampshire. Nice to hear that the price in Texas is $1.84 headed there for Round Top.
BTW last night BBC had a report on Americans "whining" about their high gas prices... compared to the rest of the world we do pay far less.... HOWEVER... we pay in other ways they don't .... just for instance....who is paying for Iraqui "reconstruction" and the "promise and joy of demoracy". We pay... oh we do, in one way or another!

Ever wonder why it's different from state to state in the same country?

Heard the oil in Alaska is the worst in the world, cost much more to refine it and it won't bring down the price of gas.
But if you can ruin a beautiful wilderness area and make a buck.... bush is for it!

The price of gas is determined by politics. Nothing else.

ya, carbonated sugar water costs more but it doesn't help ya drive to work.
