First thing about jp and et - is that they make a terrific match.

jp your dh has his Jupiter in Virgo - bam on your Sun so the relationship has great buoyancy. I probably do not need to tell you this, because people living close to someone with Jupiter conjunct their Sun generally is well aware how fortunate this is.
For kicks, I ran a "composite" chart on the two of you. I had a feeling I was going to find something and I did.

interlude

A composite chart is basically a MERGED chart of two people. It shows the relationship. If you have person A and person B, this is a third entity AB - IOW how you act as a couple. They are calculated by taking the "midpoint" of each planet - example - the exact middle point between one Sun and the other Sun is the composite Sun.
They are marvelously accurate.

end of interlude

Anyway - your composite Sun and Moon are smack on top each other in Sagittarius which I have to think is quite fortunate.
This would also indicate that your combined impact (how they see you as a couple) on people is large.
It may make is clearer what I mean by using myself as an example of the opposite for contrast, and try to explain further how this works.

With the composite Sun and Moon in the same sign, it is easy for people to see you as a couple. As a matter of fact it is not easy to see you any other way provided you are both standing there.

In my own case - me/my husbands composite features a "grand cross" which is basically a train wreck. A powerful configuration to be sure - but...
When we present together invariably (as in 100% of the time) a person with either address me or my husband specifically - never both of us. We just don't make a unit even though we are one.
We make a "display" and if I ever figure out how to post a gif of a chart I will put up a grand cross for viewing, and you would see immediately what I mean.

Sun and Moon together provide a major focal point where as a grand cross is so "busy" you don't know where to look. (btw - no one on list has one of these in their chart yet --- but I wait with a wormy mouth (baited breath).

Okay - so that is how it works in real life, but here is how this works in astrology.

When a person (or a couple) has Sun and Moon in the same sign they walk around in life with a strong arm in a "punch" kind of way. See... when you take your show on the road everyone you see has Sagittarius in one of the houses of their chart and when they run into you BANG!
That area of their life gets a huge hit of "juice". (Boy, I hope I am making sense - I will try harder)

To contrast, take your chart jp (and I will separately later)..
You meet someone - your Virgo Sun goes "here" and your Sag Moon goes "there" and the effect is spread out. You and your husband are like a one-two punch in the same spot.
Get it?
Blah blah blah.

Let me tell you something here jp.
Do you want to know the real reason I looked that the composite? It was because I wanted to see how he got you. I knew it would have to be something compelling and when I write on your chart in a separate post, I will explain.

note - I post separately because I hate to write a bunch and have a computer crash -- so risky... I have kids here who flip switches mid-type.

Okay jp - about the marriage..

First thing - Virgos do not marry. I mean it - they do not marry, that is right, that is what I mean to say.

You got your Rawpunzel-type Virgo with a whole mess of LIBRA (rules marriage - doh!)
You got your Virgo with Capricorn that marries for security or so that neighbors don't talk.
You got your Virgo with Cancer who marries for the tradition of it etc. etc. etc.
But it is not the VIRGO who is marrying because she is ungettable.

I like to use two women to illustrate Virgo and Pisces (these signs oppose each other).

Liz Taylor is a Pisces..
If you sleep with her, she will have messed up hair and she may not get it combed for several days or even a week. She has been penetrated. She gives the impression that she could show up for work the next day with her dress on backwards.
This is the appeal of a Pisces woman.

Sophia Loren is a Virgo.
If you sleep with her - the next day she will show up for work on time, perfectly groomed - utterly IN TACT. She really is the perennial - unconquerable Virgin in this way. The buzz phrase is "self-contained". This is the appeal of a Virgo women.
Double Virgo = Sean Connery. Now just imagine him mussed up.
Yeah right. For 2 seconds.

Okay - so what kind of Virgo are you?

Well like the last gal, you have a ton of fire.
You have a Sag Moon in the 5th (so did she) and a Leo rising with Pluto and Saturn conjunct in Leo.

This fire means that you are a Virgo who can run away!

The Leo rising also give Aquarius (Uranus) on the descendant (marriage) and so you have that freedom streak like myself and both rawbunzels.
In fact, the theme is repeated with a contact from N Uranus to N Venus in you chart.
Now you have a reason to run!
Further - your Uranus is in the 11th house (the house it rules) and so ultra independent and happy there, and btw - this is the thing that makes you champion volunteering.... Strong Uranus humanitarian streak.

Anyway, all of this combined is why I investigated further. I don't know how long you have been married, but you found a stellar match or you would not have bothered.

Now the other thing - is T Uranus has just went into your 7th house and if I remember right (I do!) it was lotsfuzz who was heading towards this transit. She was heading there - you have arrived.

This manifests as a freedom urge - you want to revolutionize your relationship.
It is a common first impulse to want to spontaneously get rid of the current partner and if they are lousy you will.
If they are not lousy - you will want to experiment with the roles or whatever in the relationship, the purpose being to gain freedom.
As I said, you have N Uranus in the 11th house and so this is the "stage" for the transit to occur - namely in odd associations (like the one you are having this minute! . People who come into your life (often for a very short time) give you info and then bolt (Aquarian mailmen from the other thread)

11th house = your hopes and wishes, your friends, social groups.

I bet that you change friends now and then - out with the old, in with the new and you will be seeing more of that. Another thing that could happen is you could take up astrology.
yes!
Astrology is Uranian and if you went to a local meeting, I bet you would be quite at home (I mean it) and of course this would disrupt status quo in your relationship which I believe you will be looking to do..
Anyway - that is just one example -- kind of like running off and joining the circus pisses off the mate!

okay, you do have a stellium in Libra, so if this is all sounding like relationship is discardable to you, I do not mean that.
Libra loves love, no doubt about it -so lets just say Uranus is gonna throw some sparks!

I will be back with jp's dh., and again it is very easy to see "why him?"

okay - jp's et has a reeeally interesting chart. When I see a chart like this I wish I could see the person (junque - Gemini rising w/ Uranus conjunct, and trine Mars in Aquarius on the midheaven.)

Lets just say that it gives the mental image of a very thin person with wiry hair who is a little crazed. Gene Wilder squared I mean.
Even if he does not look this way - this is the energy he exudes. Genius looking. Einstein.
He is chatty as hell. This guy can talk a blue streak and to annnnnnyone about annnnything. Rawbunzel's husband was the other talker we had but I think your husband may take the prize.

If you study like I do, then what you would really want to do is put Rawbunzels husband in a room with yours and see what happened.
Would they start talking and never stop?
Or my bet.
They would take one look at each other and glean that they were two of a kind and so repel???
"Why talk to you? May as well be a mirror? Why didn't they put me in here with someone interesting?"

Okay, so in spite of being incredibly stupendously social, and obviously highly intelligent, et has another deal here.

His underside if OH, SO different that his topside.

No one would ever dream.

et is SERIOUS, and deeply emotional and I suspect this causes some challenge because people at large would not suspect this and so would not relate to him on these terms.
I am guessing that he has vague fears, and so I will name them out of repect for that adage "name 'em claim 'em" or however it goes.
There is a fear of not being good enough, a strong need for security and a fear of dying - IOW - a fear around the quality of legacy he will leave.
Will it be good enough?
Now the answer is "yes it will" and the reason (like the other things Capricorn) is because of overcompensation again.
et is a person who will WORK to leave a legacy. Probably goes without saying, but we are talking the MOON here and so these fears some from the family / his roots.. you could say that this is the legacy he was given. Deprived of something but can't exactly name what.

Okay - besides this, I see a zillion ways your charts interact. Very nice comparison.

Got questions?
Ask 'em.

Thank you so much, VeryModern. I am laughing now because just before reading this, I made lunch plans with a new friend, an interesting person I met while volunteering! You are also correct that I really, really want to run, but the practical part of me knows that is not such a great idea. Love the thought, though. Truth be told, I have *always* wanted to run. Regarding Pepe Le Pew from another thread...

My sister is a Pisces with Venus in Aries and she married a Scorpio with an Aries rising. She might have married him twice, I am not sure on that count - anyway they would fight like hell and they both loved it.

My favorite story is when the Scorp answered the door one day. Somebody was selling something I think.
As I mentioned my sister is a dancer and so the front room was actually a studio, with a wood floor.

Anyway, dh (da husband) is at the door and my sister get some vibe she doesn't like.

She does not think for even two seconds, she just picks up a chair and wings it across the room aimed at his knees.

This chair goes sliding across the floor and BAM into his shins which of course nearly knocks him down like a bowling pin.

He turns to look at her, and he can't help it - all across his face is this "I love her" look and he shuts the door and most likely this turns out to be foreplay for these two.

Now the other thing my sister used to do routinely is break this guys stuff on the back fence.
She would go out the back door and wing the stuff as hard as she could and it would smash against the fence. Weekly basis.

They were mall rats and from what she tells me Starbucks had some cup series - "The Lovers" if I remember right and they would buy all these cups - $15 or 20 a pop and she would break them and they would have to go buy another but one. This amused the employees at starbucks. These two cut a dashing figure across the disco - both enigmatic artists - and so this added to their mystery.

Anyway, one day she got especially pissed off and a cup or two or three would not do. Instead she grabbed his prized Pepe Le Pew figures and whatnots and within a minute they were in a heap at the base of the fence.

Crazy, right?

Well here is the good part.

It was DH who told me these stories and will so much PRIDE he could not hide it..
The Pepe le Pews really got to him, and all I can say is that for Venus in Aries, love is war, and he loved the way she "war"ed. If there is one thing Aries hates, it's a wimp.

That is one thing going on.

Then you have today's Scorpio action - fleeting but intense, and end of the month Jupiter and Saturn turning direct which is not making too many people happy inside because it means the inevitable will have to be dealt with!
Is this fun yet?

Okay - this is for TD.
I will not id you - you can claim your chart if you want.

I glanced at your chart looking for an obvious handle to grab and there really wasn't one so I asked myself "Okay - so where do you want to start?"
This is when I realized that your chart was basically made of up answers.
You come with your own answers.

Now I have never had this thought before - but I will try to explain what I mean, and I will be learning as I go.

First thing I noted was that you had a stellium (cluster of planets) in Scorpio. So this tell me "this is an intense piece of work" but then I noted that the Scorpio is placed in the 9th house which means "make that a high-minded intense piece of work". Now what this does is kind of like the gal with the Virgo and the Scorpio together I wrote about a ways back. The lurker.(See how I remember )

Virgo with Scorpio is a good combo because Virgo is such a do-gooder the negative side of Scorpio policed to some extent. You have the same thing differently with Sag and Scorpio.

See Scorpio withdraws and withholds, but Sag can't stop giving.
You would think they would piss each other off - at cross purposes but it really doesn't work that way.
Instead - Scorpio wants to brood - but Sag walks outside (for a new perspective - perspective is a Jupiter/Sag concept) and this ends Scorpio suffering.
Now this is a high blessing, because ask a reeeeal Scorpio what it is like in their vacuum (and they won't tell you ) but it is akin to dying and having to live through the process.

Okay --- so you are a Sag with mars in Sag and as I have written before Sag has big ideas but without Saturn (Capricorn) cannot manifest them in the real world.

Here again - you have your own answer because your Sag falls in Saturn's house (10th). Pretty slick.
I would also say that based on this alone you will do well this year as Jupiter and Saturn move in tandem in the sky. The reason is because you innate understanding of their joint message.

Real (Saturn) Opportunity (Jupiter)
Cautiously (Saturn) Optimistic (Jupiter)

interlude

Just for contrast - to show how this works, and because this concept is so terrifically important to everyone right now (because of the conjunction in the sky) ..
Jupiter without Saturn = Pie in the sky
Saturn without Jupiter = bleak outlook no hope

The first runs after a hologram and the second misses opportunity because they lack faith there are any.

Together - big ideas are manifested into the real world.

EOI

Further, you have a Pisces Moon. The shadow side of a Pisces Moon would be inertia - but it is in the 1st house (ARIES / MARS) and so ready and raring to go.

In general - the bulk of your chart is elevated and so there is a focus on career, and there is a certain amount of seriousness that is part and parcel of that. However you have a strong eccentric streak which I think you may keep "at home" and mean that literally and figuratively.

As for transits, Uranus has just crossed your ascendent and delivered a new life I imagine. You have an Aquarius rising and so now these qualities (innovative - rule breaking - humanitarian - eccentric - cutting edge - loves to shock - independent) are enhanced and will be for YEARS.
You will like this, for the most part except for the "career boy/girl" in you because eccentricity only rarely helps the career

How many years?
Try 10.
If anyone is expecting you to conform anytime soon, tell them "think again."

You will have a Saturn T to the Moon which almost always brings some degree of depression but I am not overly concerned because like I said, you have a chart full on answers. There will most certainly be some work around the home / mother / family - probably HARD work, possibly a health problem but you will have much diversion so I don't see it closing in on you.
The adage "this too will pass" should suffice and get you through and you are clear March 2001. Clear meaning the funk will start to roll off. IOW you are already almost done.

T Pluto is in Sag at the moment and so all Sag is empowered.
Little planet - big punch.
In your pocket.
Take it.
You don't want your competition to have it do ya?

junque - I have met bad Pisces, just like you describe. They are a walking illusion and they believe their own hologram, but there is an even worse animal.

Sometimes you meet Pisces that acts the negative side of Virgo. Yep. They criticize everyone and everything. Just shred people.
If you meet one of them, this is like a lyin' Sagittarius. You can't possibly get away fast enough.

This is true of all the signs. When you someone act the shadow side of the opposite sign - there is a major problem going on.

for the record - the situation you describe is caused by too much Neptoon - Pisces, not enough Virgo / Mercury ability to discriminate.

junque - on the Pisces / Scorpio love story, here is another piece.
The Taurus.
The Taurus was another one of my sister's husbands. He predates the Scorpio.
My sister left him for / with the Scorpio, never mind why - but it went like this.

The Scorpio spotted her and decided like they do .. "I want that."

He was a musician and on the road - in a winnebago type set up.
He has a sag Moon, and so does she - Sag Moon, conjunct Jupiter in Sag in fact and so they were the traveling type - always game for an adventure.

Anyway, she lives in this condo with her husband a their new baby, and so the Scorpio PARKS the winnebago in the parking lot and commences wooing.

He is a Creole New Orleans type and so he sings outside the window, but he also sprinkles various potions on the ground outside the place and chants quite a bit. He does this nearly nightly for weeks.
As a Pisces, my sister is memorized, and she is wholly disgusted with Taurus, and I only have one thing to say on that note.
What I learned is that when a women is pregnant their memory is permanent as far as how they are treated. Mistreat or neglect a pregnant woman and forgiveness will very likely never occur.

Anyway - long story short, she eventually takes the baby and climbs into the Winnebago and off they go for 8 or 9 years.

Now Taurus never finds a replacement for my sister.

She once told one of my boyfriends "the last thing you want to see is my sister's ass walking away from you, because you will not find another". She added "you should see the last guy she left. He is right there where she left him" and the fact is that this type thing runs in the family.

Anyway - 8 or 9 tumultuous years later, my sister is pissed off at the Scorpio and so calls the Taurus who sends a car for her immediately

So he has her holed up in his place (think possession) deliriously happy but Scorpio is not walking away.

He locates my sister (with his innate honing device no doubt) and he stands under a streetlight - well actually in the shadow at the edge of the light thrown by the streetlight across the street from this condo where they are at.
He stands there every night, all night, 5, 6, 7 nights in a row. My sister looks out the window and there he is.

Taurus worries not.

He gets on the phone and he buys window locks and a STEEL DOOR. Now his thing is as much to keep my sister in as to keep Scorpio out.

Anyway, I told this whole story to get to the steel door part because I laughed till I cried when I heard that.

Taurus and Scorpio oppose each other in the zodiac of course.

So it turns out that TD up a ways is a beloved auctionwatcher.

He/She did not ask me to do this - but I am going to clarify some of what I wrote to make it is easier to relate to because I believe it will be helpful. I am confident that if I could take a vote in this forum - there would be a landslide in favor of taking up space to support TD anyway possible, so I am writing, but this is from the collective.

Bold is from my last post.
In general - the bulk of your chart is elevated and so there is a focus on career, and there is a certain amount of seriousness that is part and parcel of that.

"Elevated", "MC", "Midheaven" describe the top a chart - between the 9th and 10th houses.
I am referring here to a cluster of planets - if you see your chart, you cannot miss the line up at the top.
Now I say "career" which is some serious shorthand.
What I mean is that the top of the chart is associated with your public image, as opposed to the 4th house, your home, your roots, your private life.

When a person has a lot of planets placed at the top of their chart, their public image is important to them.
Sun in the 10th (you have this placement) is quasi Capricorn which almost always is found to have integrity to an extraordinary degree. You live your life in a way as to set the example / the standard for the rest of us.

Because your Sun is in Sag - what you take public is funny, highminded, buoyant and benevolent.
As I mentioned before - much of the negative side of Sag is negated by the 10th house (Jupiter with Saturn).
For example you are CANDID (Sag) but RESPONSIBLE about it (10th house/Saturn).
Quite a nice combo, if you read a ways back about big mouth Sag who exercise no restraint..

Further, you have a Pisces Moon. The shadow side of a Pisces Moon would be inertia - but it is in the 1st house (ARIES / MARS) and so ready and raring to go.

Okay - what I left out here, is that Moon in Pisces is highly sensitive. It also falls in the bottom of your chart and so I am sure that you know this already at some level - but here is what happens.

This huge collection of planets at the top of your chart is like a focal point.
It is huge walking down the street - people see it and they relate to it. It is so glaringly apparent - you give such a powerfully strong presentation - that your Moon (emotions / underside) are almost like a footnote.

Of course I have blathered on long enough by now for people to know - that having the needs of the Moon met is paramount to living happy life, and so you see your challenge here TD.
You have to use your strong hand to deal cards to your Moon.

I have sent you a post privately last night(hope you got it - if not pls email) and I am going to leave this right here because I think if you do not get this instantly, it will trickle together - and if it leaves you the least bit baffled - pls email.

I have to fix this.
I have the date wrong here. It should read June, not March.
I am sorry. Little glyphs on a page and I read Jupiter not Saturn.

You are going to feel old, you are going to feel cold, things are going to move slowly, but they are going to move.

One of the biggest gifts astrology can offer is a certainty of this and a time frame. The only way through this is to plod. The "transcend" or the "detach" option some people have on offer is not available to you at time. I am not writing this to bring you down, but because there is relief to be gleaned in accepting this fact and committing to do the work one step at a time.

The image here is Capricorn mountain goat - who climbs to dizzying heights finding one foothold, then another, then another.

You will dance on top this mountain TD.
I guarantee you will.

Be well.

Its a shame,Because cancer people, out of their shell, are so much fun,And good friends.I started to say,I have a friend in every sign....But there are no Geminis or Aries, around right now.(must have been something I said) ]

Hiya junque - I dunno what age this is.

I have heard that we are in the Age of Aquarius and others state that we are now in the age of Pisces but cannot offer anything further because it does not make sense to me and never has.

On Cancer men, I did become involved with one of them, but it was a doozy.
We went on and off for SEVENTEEN years.
Yes.
I met him when I was 15 YO.
Anyway, every time we ran into each other we would start another affair within about 20 minutes, and sometimes 5.

We would have ourselves a grand time for 1 day, 2, 3 or maybe 2 weeks and then he would hit that time in the monthly cycle of Cancer moods where he would withdraw, and then all hell would break loose.

See, I could not, would not, let him be.
I would bang and pound on whatever door there was to whatever cubby he was holed up in which of course drove him to near insanity. Not that I cared about that.
Better him than me

Anyway - every time we went down in a hail of bullets I always knew we'd tango again until we finally finished our karma together, and what a relief that was.

Since then I noted that Cancer gather when I have been pregnant or nursing and as soon as I wean - they disperse.
It's true. They oversee this thing - like when someone is dying - you find Scorpio, or if you need to stabilize you meet Taurus.. etc.

Sometimes I dont know if I'm going for ornery or shock factor. I know I have a mean bone tho and for some reason I need to let people see it.

Can you tell me something about the pisces shock factor thing VM?

dejavu - will do and post asap.
Libra from Denver - will also do, and post asap.

kitsch1 - shock is not a Pisces thing, it is Aquarian / Uranian.

The reason you love it is because your Mercury thinking / talking planet is in Aquarius.
This is a good thing.
Mercury, the mind loves to be in an air sign where it can move swiftly. Mercury in Aquarius = non conforming thinker.

You also have Uranus (conjunct Pluto) on your Midheaven which I just ran through with TD. This is your public image so the last thing you want to do or are going to do is go OUT there and blend in.

So there you go kitsch1.
You do it because you are interesting
love your pic btw.

I haven't been in this thread for pages and pages...it's too tempting to ask for more more more and I know there are probably hundreds of things in VM's inbox now, but I gotta tell you something.

Several pages back, the reading that was addressed to the "working mommy"...well, that was me. VM mentioned my son's dreams, and his need/desire/quest for power and control. Yesterday, I finally was able to meet with the psychologist who did his assessment and get the report.

Dr. tells me that Nick expressed to him how he has such bad dreams. (!!!) I had asked Nick, during a conversation one day we were having about silly things we dream, if he had dreams at night, and if they were scary to him at all. He said "no, I don't dream" to me. But, back in September/early October, when this assessment took place (boonie clinic - they poke around getting back to you until you stomp your feet a bit) he told this dr. that his dreams were troubling him.

Another thing that came out during the various storytelling/assessment test is that he feels powerless...like he wants more control, but is afraid to take it.

There was more (much more) that came from this assessment, (most having to do with the state of family life right now), but those two things in particular struck me, since they were specific things that had been mentioned in that reading.

Things have improved here somewhat - we made some changes in the household chores, giving his sister the menial task of setting the table (which she does surpisingly well for an almost three year old!) and promoted him to dishwashing, which he has shocked me by taking to and enjoying it! He seems to see it as a move "up" the ladder here at home. We also changed the rules on his computer time - he no longer just gets his time, he has to earn it. In that way, it works like he has some control over it. Seems to be working. I haven't been able to convince him that doing the cat box is a promotion tho...still working on that! LOL

I really wanna help this boy - and I am at such a loss. I am hoping this counselling (which will soon be extending to the entire family) will give us some guidance. The reading was very helpful to the husband and me - and I thank you.

Thanks about the pic, it was from haloween and people were showing costumes. I never have a costume (ie never plan ahead) so took that shot. lol

I took a few of those online tests. I took this one test a few different times in different moods, seperated by time but kept getting the same answer...I'm like 1 percent of the population in personality. For some reason this pleased me greatly.

But if you really think on it most one percenters are in prison. lol
