That's encouraging news about the money...I did just buy something great...I'll tell you what it is when it arrives. You're going to love it... Very strange coincidence.
You're right, biz is terrible all over...shops all around us are closing...one of them has been in business for at least 30 years...scary.
Thanks for this thread...it's been a pleasure in a very UNpleasurable time. And now I can rationalize adopting that little parrot baby... G'nite...

Okay mimigigi - most of what I wrote on your chart still applies - here are some modificatons.
More high-minded than previous version.
Purer motive.
You have a 9th house Sun where I thought it was the 10th and so you retain the attractiveness to the public (Venus in the 10th) but you are now a "seeker of truth" as opposed to a seeker of success.
For you to "live your Sun", you must aggressively (Aries) seek to expand your horizons via higher education, interface with foreigners, or people with different "belief systems" than your own (I am an example - but I also mean different religions). The purpose being to discover the "truth" and this is a life long quest. You have both Mercury and Mars(ruler of your sun) in Pisces, also in the 9th house which underscores the idea that this type pursuit is a major focus for you
interlude
Sag can also do all this via sports. Climb Everest, that sort of thing, which is of course a spiritual adventure" Come to think of it those at excellent words for the 9th house "spiritual adventure".
end of interlude
Okay, so this takes you a l-o-n-g way from your Cancer rising (HOME! MOM!) and your Capricorn Moon in the 6th house (BUT I CAN'T TAKE OFF WORK) but honestly, if you do not find a way to direct some of your energy to these types pursuits, you are missing the boat.

OMG-well, I cannot begin to tell you how much this connects--first, I left the DeSoto, KS boy and my presbyterian upbringing to marry a NYC Russian Jew~some of my closest friends are Nepalese Buddists, French nationals, etc... and yet, I still feel something is missing! And---yes, I am a homebody, but only as it suits me, no kids and not even a dog yet~how can I commit when I have NO IDEA where I will be a year from now?!?! Always, I wonder~what direction will I wander off to next?
Yet, always searching....

mimigigi - you still have all your oddity below the surface, not so visible to the public, but this does not mean it does not feed you.
You have a tight inconjunct from 3rd house Pluto to your Sun which tells me that you could be up all night reading (or on the phone)ISO the elusive truth and insight into your future. An inconjunct is akin to an itch. An itch creates action - it does not lie in the sun and get a tan. OTOH it also does not throb. It is widely seen as a minor negative aspect in astrology (irritant) and given weight when the aspect is tight (yours is), but I see it more as an itch to get going, and don't think that is necessarily a bad thing.
Anyhow, Pluto in the 3rd (Gemini, communication, thinking) brings depth to the superficial 3rd house and the ability to dig up a secret on the computer for example, which is apparently what you did with your birth time.
This in turn feeds your 9th house sun via the trine, and so that is how that works in real life. (the dig up the birth data info + a zillion other ways you can think of if you try - since it has served you your whole life.
You can consider it akin to having your car full of gas if you want to go ISO information for the purpose of learning...
Okay - your Mercury and Mars in Pisces is trine Neptune in the 4th, and I would have to say that you can see the future.
Pisces - psychic
Mercury - information
Mars - on fire
Neptune - more Pisces
in the 9th house - future.
Not that are not exactly going to tout this in your "neighborhood", and not that Neptune does not play tricks because it does, it always, always does. I do not believe that *anyone* have a clear channel, and so it is always "is it real or is it Memorex" but often is is "real".
You have a square to N Neptune from cosmic cop Saturn, so perhaps this scares you, or alternately keeps this whole business under wraps. Nevertheless - there it is and if it is lying dormant, the universe will be kind enough to send a transit to activate at some point and then you will find out about it
Okay, your Moon is in Capricorn in the 6th house so you have to serve some way - in your case I would say "teach" mostly because of the 9th house. You could teach business among other things, you have natural ability via the Cancer and Capricorn.
I am out of time.
I think I have some more comments tomorrow, Ciao.

Okay mimigigi - the struggle between tradition (Cancer rising / Cap Moon) and adventure (your 9th house) will always be part of your life. Cancer wants (needs) to be near the family - their roots, Sag (9th house) needs to break any restraints (this is a wild horse - Sag is *not* domesticated) as I already outlined, and have a look around the world, and the world is big.
There are ways and times that it can all come together for you though.
Hmmm...
When you bake Grandma's pie for you exotic foreign friends who also happen to be business contacts
(junque I hope you laughed at that)
On your transits, I do see a highly bizarre period on the horizon, I will try to describe it.
You are going to mix two energies that do not blend well.
Neptune and Saturn.
Now this does not mean there is an awful result, but it does mean that this is not like a Leo going for a month long romp in the sun.
interlude
NOTE TO dcj - this is all akin to a 12th house Saturn but in your case, it is natal and being transited aka it is always with you, and now you know it.
mimigigi - this is a passing experience for you.
end of interlude
Saturn in a chart shows where we are hurt, and where we are rigid. We are rigid in an attempt to control because we are trying to protect our sore spot, and we generally are able to do this successfully even though it may be do our own detriment.
For example.
Afraid people won't like you? Then "don't like them first". Dum stuff like that.
We all do it in whatever realm.
Okay, so T Neptune is coming round to conjunct your N Saturn. Neptune again, makes everything hazy.
Real? Unreal? Surreal? It is hard to tell.
When you mix the two you get :
Now, I'll tell you this is a little bit crazy making.
The purpose is to erase what is holding you back, but by God we like out fears. They make us feel safe, they define us even.
If it is not too far out for you - this is like your very skin is dissolving and given a choice - most people would not buy a ticket ya know?
So what is going to happen is post this transit you will have a completely different idea about fear. You will be rid of the control it has on your life, and the major thing here is FAITH.
Neptoon like Pisces requires faith.
See, if you can't tell where you start and everything else begins (like a Pisces) then you must have faith that you will be okay.
This as opposed to "I am fine as long as I keep those (insert name of racial group her) from moving in my neighborhood".
See what I mean?
NOTE- I am not saying you feel like any of these examples - they are just things that occur to me to illustrate and are not personal to you END OF NOTE
Okay - so you have this transit - double whammy of sorts.
You have T Neptune conjunct N Saturn
and you have
T Saturn square N Jupiter, Mars, Mercury in Pisces (associated with Neptune)
This will all activate Natal aspect Saturn square Neptune
Now in the end of all this - what you will have is not liberation like a Uranus transit, or a weeded garden like Pluto - this is akin to having your fears washed away. It is like they were never there - but in between now and then - expect to be confused for reasons you cannot so easily define.

VM, thank you~more than you can know.
It all fits~but I am reading this over and over trying to get a handle on it all.
And guess what? yes, I was up all last night trying to figure it all out~and will probably do the same tonight! LOL

snowy - thanks for posting with a review.
I do not have a copy of that book and was going on my memory of 10 years ago. If you get a chance to post more comments it would be great for the thread. Thanks again.

You are quite welcome mimigigi and if there is something you are stuck on, go ahead and ask.
I was trying to throw a wide net over your chart.

Oh gosh Muriel - I am doing quickie freebies here for no particular reason
You can email your data if you want (date time and city), and I will take a peek if you like.
If you are interested in something more, I am sorry I do not know anyone who does paid consultations at the moment, but I would caution you against paying for a computerized report because they are very limited.
What you get for your $5.95 - $49.95 is a computerized list of aspects in your chart and "pat" meanings and what you will find is one contradicts the other and they are very hard to make sense of. They will say "30 pages long" but really I think they are nearly impossible to assimilate. The end result is you are standing with this in your hand thinking "well, I did it" and it is pretty much dissatisfying.
IOW if you choose to do this, get a human!
Thanks again for the picture - it's a jaw dropper.

Hi Muriel - I am answering on this thread because I have a huge body of work here that I am referring back to on occasion.
Regarding the house, it is a good idea, if and only if...
You are downscaling, moving somewhere smaller, OR if the house is intended to rent, and produce income.
If you are considering buying "bigger and newer" I *do not* think this is a good idea, based on Saturn transit entering your 4th house (home) which is most definitely not the time to splurge on your home. Better idea to work on what you have.

Muriel - I wanted to add...
I can see the urge to buy a new house but I do think that by April you would have a very different impluse.
Again - if the house to produce income, or buy - fix - sell, that is a thumbs up.

Well, we were looking at a house across the street because our subdivision is built around a lake, and we want to be ON the lake rather than across the street from it. The house is listed high, but we were hoping to get them down. Our house is six years old, the other house is 25 years old. But it costs more because it's ON the lake. I suppose that doesn't make a difference, does it.

Muriel - I am sorry but I do think "buy now" then "regret in April, May, June.."
sorry!
I know you are chompin at the bit NOW, but watch, someone buys that house and you are morose about it, but then you get talking to them and find out there are problems on top of problems. You say "no" now, and you'll be glad April.
Lets just say that if you give in now, you will pay later, and it won't seem like such a deal.
posted on January 9, 2001 05:27:35 PM new
Ok, VM, I believe you. I think you're probably right. The psychic even said that she thought someone else would buy it before we could. We haven't even seen the house yet. We're doing that Thursday night, and I still want to see what it's like. But I'm taking your advice on this one. THANKS a bunch. I'll let you know when we find out what was wrong with it.

Different impulse meaning right now you are slobbering over the prospect of living in this house.
But by April you will either live there (and find it needs a tremendous amount of work, or brings various hardship).
Or not live there (and be thinking "that was a very wise decision"

TOABYEN = The Only Astrology Book You'll Ever Need
Since I'm only halfway thru, I can only comment on the 1st part. Very concise descriptions of the Sun Signs. I like the inclusion of the meaning of the glyphs, and the dominant keywords make it easy to remember the basic drive of the sign.
Example: Scorpio I Desire
Cusps and decanates are explained.
The next section covers the Sun signs in Love! Male and Female examined separately. (Includes brief descriptions of all combinations)
Astrology and health section covers parts of the body ruled by each sun sign with diet and health tips for each sign. I never saw the cell salts associated with each sign anywhere else.

Good deal Muriel..
And if you can steal it and rent one of the houses at a profit or something, then that is a different story.
You are a Capricorn rising ruled by Saturn, and so you do what he says and he says "business smart" on the home front.
FYI Jupiter is at the cusp (just entering your 4th house / home) now and also opposing your N Moon. This is a double whammy.
Jupiter says GET THE BIG HOUSE, expand expand like there is no tomorrow, he is a optimistic and happy fella, but Saturn is coming to the same point in April and he has a bigger gun, and besides that, he lasts longer.
Saturn says - conserve and I am quite sure (utterly confident) that you will have a new mood come April. See, that house looks like you wildest dream at the moment but it's gonna pass. Saturn moves to Gem end of April. Report back May 1 and tell us about it.
