Thank you VM for a very interesting thread!

Diana
thank you, that was VERY special.
My husband is a Capricorn and my grown daughter (who still lives at home)is a Taurus, but I'm a Scorpio so I can deal with them, although I do get tired of playing peacemaker and go-between at times
Hi Kris.
While I'm here I would like to wish everyone a very Happy New Year!!!
affirmation comes from within ...
not at the expense of another.

funny junque!
note to potato - you will not be id'ed.
Venus is in Scorpio in the 1st house. It is sq. Pluto in Leo (midheaven).
T Uranus is squaring same and Natal Uranus in the 8th house (of sex).
Now this says sexual experimentation to me, what do you think?
If I am not sure - Mars is in Scorpio in the 12th, conjunct Jupiter (in Libra) and the Part of Fortune and so Potato is no prude.
Moon is in Virgo, but in the 11th house and so somewhat FREE and again experimental.
Scor rising. Libra Sun *but* conjunct Neptune and Mercury so this is quite an imaginative spud yes/no?
Now I did see a chart kind of like this of a gal (an astrologer) and she surprised me by wishing for "virtual sex". She wanted to put on one of those suits and go into a virtual sex world and have herself a time. This suit was going to provide various physical sensation and she was not going to have to touch anyone. This was the main appeal to her.
Hey. Whatever.
Sometimes (esp scor rising) someone with Pluto like this does the other extreme of total abstinence. Not that we need to know, or Potato is gonna tell us!
I wonder what Potato looks like.
Scorpio rising does the intense eye thing and but Venus in the 1st looks pretty to all who see her..
Pluto in Leo is on the midheaven, and an eccentric 11th house.
Hmmmmm.......
Someone you see come in the room for sure. Potato would get a Taurus moving in 2 seconds.

junque - I just re-read your post.
What a trip you are.
You just named all the air and fire signs as sexy.
Uh....
Fire sign sex
Leo - performing
Sag - an adventure
Aries - conquering
Air sign sex
Aquarius - an experiment
Gemini - something to do for a short time
Libra - part of partnership
Water sign sex
Scorpio - exchange of energy
Pisces - religion
Cancer - a way to feel nurtured.
Earth sign sex
Virgo - it's good for you
Taurus - sex is life blood
Capricorn - what they deserve, a reward
This is Venus and Mars folks, as much as your Sun sign.

VM: I would *love* to have my chart done (is that the correct term?) but have hesitated to ask because it seems like it is a lot of work for you and I didn't want to impose. However, (you saw that coming, didn't ya') I've gotten to the point that I don't mind risking being rude to see if you wouldn't mind 'doing me'.
So, if you wouldn't mind, would you please do my chart?
My birthday is May 30, 1975. I'm not sure what else you need.
Edit: Opps, found it: City: Las Cruces, NM Time: 10:31 AM (my mom says that is pretty specific).

Hi, VM,
I was reading my 2001 forcast from Astrodienst. There was something in it that has me concerned. Right around the time of my 10th sobriety Birthday in April, my forcast said to beware of taking any drugs of any kind. Even drugs that appear to be harmless. This has got me a bit troubled because I am not "cured" from my problem (disease, some people refer to it) with drugs and alcohol, it is just not a problem...today. And my disease is unbelievably sneeky so...I am concerned. Can you shed light on this issue for me? Tanx!

Sorry, Xardon. Meant not to miss you. Best wishes for the upcoming year.
Special hellos to Maui, Nobs, and Fuzzy. Miss everyone, but seems it'll be a bit longer before I'm inflicted upon OAI chat again. Wishing all fulfillment of their dreams.

Thanks fuzz - Leo rising, Aqua Moon, highly social and I will write out the rest when I get a chance - you're in the stack.
Eve - this is an easy question.
Addiction is primarily a Neptune Pisces 12th house thing. It is a means of escaping reality.
Your problem/disease is shown very clearly by Neptune opposite your Sun and your Moon.
Now.
Your Neptune is @ 5 degrees Scorpio and T Neptune is 5 degrees Aquarius NOW, TODAY forming an exact square (90 degree angle) .
If you have read this whole thread then you know that these things lay in a chart and are woken from whatever semi awake state is usual for them when a planet in the sky transits them. What this means to you, is that yes you are at increased risk.
Now listen up.
This Neptune is part of your KITE. In fact, it is the anchor of the whole thing - elevated in your chart in the 10th house. This means there is MAJOR support and lots of places you can grab, and your best choice is Saturn.
Time to see what that Cap rising can do.
It works like this.
Your Taur Sun and Moon have their cravings - their huge appetite. There is a constant pull from Neptune - come hither.. to the land of whatever you can dream into being. This is the opposition and the problem.
Okay - you have a Cap rising with ruler Saturn placed in Capricorn (where it likes to be) conjunct and this little number sextiles (easy aspect) that Neptune. Now Saturn is the brakes of the universe. It is all about control, and in your situation, the ace in your pocket. Neptune gets to dreaming and when it gets to close to the line Saturn can blow the whistle.
Neptune is in Scorpio and CAPRICORN beats Scorpio. Yes.
Scorpio acts up and Capricorn locks 'em up in jail and tosses the key. Forget about it, Scorpio can seethe and hiss, Capricorn will let them out of lock up when time is served.
Want to motivate Saturn?
Neptune is in your 10th house and if you get drunk it will be public. Now this is not Neptune's preference. Neptune likes to hide. OTOH Saturn HATES to make an ass of themselves in public and so will waste no time slapping Scorpio stupid if it decides to risk reputation.
Second arm of your kite is Pluto in the 8th - also placed where it likes to be.
Now this one goes both ways.
It likes the rim of hell. See, 8th house Pluto knows that there are some flowers that only grow at the edge of the abyss and so has a fondness for *almost* dying. This has likely contributed to a problem in the past.
Thing is we grow up, don't we?
The essence of an 8th house Pluto is power in it's purest form. For good or ill. It is also the PREMIER indication of a natural psychiatrist. So here is the rub.
You have been the patient, so how about you be healer, this second half of your life?
Eve, I don't think you're goin' down.
Increased risk now until Neptune clears not only N Neptune but your Sun and Moon degrees which is 5 years out. You want to worry and flirt with the edge go ahead, but I am telling you that Saturn can control this and Pluto in the 8th cam stop a train with a glance if it so desires.

That is very interesting to know what was going on when I hit bottom 10 years ago!!! Thank you so much for looking at that (awful/good) time in my life! I feel I am a MUCH different person, the only time my alcoholic persona is alive is when I'm sound asleep. I still have the most manipulative un/subconciuos Life!!! Sorta pisses me off, it does! They aren't just ordinary drinking dreams , they're snotty "I told you you were a loser" drinking dreams....soooo realistic I wake uup and have to make sure I'm still OK!

Eve that is kind of funny, (sad too) but classic Neptune dreams/trickery opposing your Sun. Your very identity is in question.
It is Saturn doing the berating.
Tell 'im shut up - I've done 10 years!

It's funny, this next stuff I have to relate to you sounds a bit woojy woojy but...I've been able to totally anialate the "evil vibes" and evil spirits my brother paul keeps inviting into the house. Seriously, they try to force their energy onto me. and I just say "if you want to mess with someone , it's Paul you're after NOT ME!" and I havn't been "tested" since the last take over attempt...I'm serious, some EVIL mojo my brother keeps messing with. I don't mean he is a cultist or satinist, he just seems to be a wide open portal or channel to any and everything. So, yes I will get me dreams under control...actually the last awful one I just sort of said well , it is just a dream! I get the last laugh.

I had a dream once that was so awful I wrote it down but never related it to anyone. It was so painful I woke up because I couldnt breath. I cried so much in sleep that the flem in my throat was choking me. The dream wouldnt let me wake until I couldnt breath.
Very....... I found my birth time and wish you would read me. You are the only person I have ever asked such a thing.

Okay mybiddness, all I know to do here is forget everything I thought I knew and just read the chart.
You look like a happy-ish Pisces to me. Now Pisces in general is not a happy sign. It is not a sad sign either, it is a "little bit sad" sign. The reason is because somewhere in the world someone is always suffering or starving or hurting in some way and Pisces can never escape this knowing.
I was on a date with a Pisces once. We were walking around downtown Denver and it was hard to get anywhere because he stopped to give everyone he saw some money and a word or encouragement. The homeless, the drug addicted, the musician playing with the guitar case, the college kid riding people around in a cart for extra money, etc., etc. etc. I am not judging this, I am reporting it, and the fact that most people pass these people by and the people who don't take a little piece of the pain home with them.
This is Pisces.
This is also the reason they so often seek escape in substance abuse. Living is just a little bit sad. They would like to be in heaven but are stuck instead, walking sponges in a harsh world.
Okay, so how did you get happy?
Well first we put your Pisces in the 5th house - which is fun drama Leo never never never grow up land.
Next we give you a grand trine to the Moon with Uranus and Neptune, then we add an opposition to Jupiter, and last we add nothing nasty (squares to awful planets). This goes a long way towards letting a person feel good about themselves.
After this, we put Jupiter in the 11th to give a large circle of friends, and then we give you a Libra rising so people who see you like what they see. As an added fail safe - we put Neptune in the first so if you are having a bad hair day you can throw a "veil" over (this is a psychic thing) and make everyone think they are seeing perfect hair - IOW you can hide right in the light.

This continues to be my favorite place to hang out~
Diana, that poem was wonderful, I see you in other places and love your spirit.
VM, I am going to get a copy of my birth certificate somewhere in order to know for certain my time of birth. It's too important not to be certain. I think about it alot.
But, here is something funny~my mother in law was born 19 years before me on exactly the same day, March 28~hmmm....

I do have a picses question because I was never into that and the longer I live the more I wonder.
Is it just me or do most pisces close off often. It's like I dont know if it's my past or what, but if I hear others hurting and I am not able to help my being shuts down in guilt because I cant help. And it is because if I cant help I can hardly live with me and then I dont want to be around anyone.
I very seldon listen to the news because if like a child is molested or hurt in some way I cant get past it.
Honestly I seem capable of only taking care of my kids and beyond that it makes me insane! There are neighbor kids who come over who have terrible troubles and I can only stand it for a day or two and I have to kick them back to the parents. Then I feel guilty for not letting them stay more.

kitsch1 - I have not gotten your data yet, but I am assuming that you are a Pisces and yes, what you describe is typical for the sign. Most Pisces have a Scorpio or a Virgo guard dog (husband / wife / partner / ) that fends off outsiders so that they can isolate and mend, then come out for more of the same.
You never see a fish quite wide awake either, because they are weary to one degree or the other of all the troubles.
Liz Taylor is the quintessential Pisces and her guard dog - Richard Burton a Scorpio.
Winnie the Pooh is also Pisces and he is addicted to honey.

I had that guard dog. I guess it went bad, he was only a part time guard dog. I dont know what sign he was he was born early december. He used to let me try to take care of the world around us. Then he would let me cry till the pain of not fixing things passed. Mostly after he was gone for months. Then he was the pain he hurt me and the worst part was that he was such a good pretender.
I'm trying to understand why I'm writing so much about personal issues. The new year is coming and I've bought a house for the girls and I. I guess I want to know something that will help me thru this new and free part of my life. I've never really been free and I've never been able to figure out why I married twice to men who would use weapons against me.
I kinda sorta want to date but really really want to know more before I even attempt it.
posted on December 30, 2000 06:50:12 PM newKitsch From another Pisces here, I've read your post before when you shared a little bit about the road you've traveled with your kiddos. You have such strength... I think Pisces as a rule underestimate their own strength because we do feel the pain of others so deeply that it makes us feel vulnerable sometimes. But, if you stop and look at what you've managed to overcome personally - while all the while carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders - WOW! You should be mightily impressed with you, I'm thinkin!
VeryModern Yes, I think I'm a happy kinda Pisces with only an occasional nose-dive into depression - and I sure am glad for that! My Virgo guard dog is firmly in place. He makes me nuts with the whole perfection thing but I can't imagine my life without him.

Mybidness,
I have a huge conflict. I feel alot around me and all but (and I'm sure you've seen it) I get these nasty little devil moods and strike out. It's like my soul is fighting itself.
I am that way in life too, it's like you do everthing you can and feel too much and you let it go on and on and then you just have to cuss or scream or kick.
posted on December 30, 2000 07:21:20 PM newKitsch I can't speak from an Astrological perspective... too green. But, I think the first step is to pull the reins back a bit and look at what you're realistically able to do when life seems too big. Don't let yourself concentrate on what you can't do or control... force yourself to look at what you have accomplished. Really, really look at it and give yourself credit for it. Forgive yourself for what you can't do and accept what you can as being good enough. Otherwise, you'll be fighting the monsters for the rest of your life. Since I don't know you, I can't speak to you personally - but, I think most people have a hard time patting themselves on the back. I've found that the more I've learned to do that - then the more I've settled the restlessness that comes with wanting to save the world.
