Well, I sure can attest to it being bad for my health! LOL

You are also right about another thing.. having said my peace in a professional manner and having done all I can possibly do...I don't need to answer any more emails or even respond to the fraud reports....Of course now they are threatening to take me to court... Good Grief..I give up, some people you just can not please.

Over $5?!

This guy is pathetic.

jwoodcrafts fluffythewondercat said it beautifully (and you know from reading her other posts here that she is a very aboveboard and easygoing seller.)

Hang in there. Read all your other great feedback to remind yourself that this is not about you, it's about this one unbalanced jerk... and in three months, call his local Pizza Jerk and order 70 anchovy pies to be delivered at 1 a.m. AND subscribe him to "Drag Queen Weekly."

(How's THAT for constructive advice?)

To AFALLENANGEL:

THIS IS GOD. I'M GIVING YOU A SIGN. QUIT PUTTING THAT "WE HAVE SIGNS FROM GOD" THING AT THE END OF EVERY POSTING. IT'S ANNOYING MY PEOPLE.

sprtgust: I was thinking of changing my sig line, which I do about every week or so, but now, I don't know. Something, some sign, some voice from the deep keeps whispering in my ear to keep it for just a while longer.

Then again, it could be that I just need to take my medicine. :P

I have a belief by which I live, If I am so stupid that I need a sign to know what is right and what is wrong, my problem is bigger then God. If God needs me to do his work, then he is too weak to be god. Finally, if I am certain I am right... I mean ABSOLUTELY POSITIVE that I am with god, I am probably wrong. God is NEVER that clear, only the other guy is.

Well, it happened. They left me a neg. I knew it was coming but that doesn't make it any easier.

I don't know what to say in a response. I think I need to step back, count to 10,000 and calm down. Then think of something. I don't know what. This person has caused me so much grief over this I honestly just don't know what to do about it.

It is almost like I am dealing with either more than one person or a split personality.

I filed the loss mail form. This seemed to appease them yesterday, then this morning they are ranting some more on the fraud complaint site, like they totally forgot that they were "appeased" yesterday, and now they have left me a neg.

I sure hope they don't expect me to EVER send them anything now...but...wait... we aren't talking about a normal person here, they probably do think that in the end I will.

Oh brother

So sorry you got negged!

It's always the small little sales that draw the idiots. Respond the best you can as now it's over.

And I hope you don't ever get another jerk like this one. Take care.

The deal is done. Block his emails and move on.

When you say it is over now, does that mean that with this neg, the fraud complaint thing is now in the past? Or do I still have that to worry about?

I have had such a good record on Ebay, I have no idea what to do or what to expect to be "done" to me.

I feel like a total newbie right now.

I use Netscape and I can't figure out how to block the emails. I am not even sure if I can block them.

Our policy, stated in our rules, is that once you post a neg on a transaction, we consider that transaction concluded.

jwoodcrafts: If you're using Netscape on a Mac, I can give you specific instructions. Otherwise you need to adapt these to Windoze.

On a Mac, under "Edit" on the menu bar, select "Message Filters...".

Click "New" to create a new filter.

Make sure the "Filter Action" section is showing.

Enter your mentally-ill customer's email address in the text box. Select "sender" and "contains".

Then, select "Move to folder" and click the New Folder button. Name your new folder.

You don't have to explicitly save the new filter, but make sure the Enabled checkbox is checked.

That's about all there is to it.

Thanks, I will try to block it.

When you say -- once you post a neg on a transaction, we consider that transaction
concluded. --

Is this Ebay's rules or your own TOS? I want to believe that it is Ebay's and not yours. Please tell me I am right.

That is the way it should be. This person is so impatient they couldn't wait for the PO to get the forms to them, they had give a neg now.
This transaction was not over with yet due to them, (although I wish that it was.) Feedback should be the last of any transaction.

I have decided that there is no point in responding to any emails or any more entries in the fraud complaint form. I would just be repeating myself because I have done all I can do.

I told my husband that I believe the powers that be at Ebay are smart enough to catch on to this bidder. I mean really, the other day the address they said I sent it to was a vacant lot, now they say they asked the lady that lived there if she got the package. So now the vacant lot is someones home...go figure. It shouldn't take a genius to figure it all out.

Look, you have mailed the @#@#@# thing & have told him it is in the mail. Quit getting stressed over this. Just read the Email & if he says it hasn't arrived, just delete it & go on with your life. Eventually it will get there. There are worse things in life than being reported to safe harbor. You can easily prove that you sent can't you, i.e. receipt from PO?

Actually you don't get reciepts for First Class mail, or my PO doesn't give them, but you are right.

I should just get on with my life and that is what I am going to try to do. I have already got 2 more bids since the neg. They probably didn't notice it, but hey, I got them just the same. It makes me feel better just knowing I got the bids after the fact.

JWoodcrafts, any successful seller is going to have negs. This person has just presented you with an opportunity to show your future customers how professional you are. Back off a few steps, take a little time and craft a calm response with a brief explanation. It's easy to be a wonderful seller when every thing goes smoothly. Personally, as a bidder, what I want to know is: Are you going to be able to keep it together if our transaction goes to heck in a handbasket? I have a lot more confidence in a seller that has beeen able to calmly leave an explanation as a response to a neg than I do in one that has never had to deal with one.

Hang in there! I'm sure you'll do just fine.

How does this sound as a reply to the neg this buyer left for me?
-----------
Sent item using addy handwritten by them on envelope. PO is investigating issue

Thanks!

Simply State, Item was mailed on XX/XX/XXXX. Without isurence it is ipossible for me to gurentee the US Mail. Tell them to contact their postmaster. End of Discussion. eBay will not get too involved. Ask them to prove that they did not get it
