networker,

you so vehemently attack the information on topic that others bring here yet you offer no information yourself except for your sayso.

what gives you to think that that is enough for anyone to believe you?

Not just you.

Is this considered addressing the topic and not the poster?

Then again you expect me to talk urban and bow to massa.

Note the last 3 words.

net- the article you linked to is extremely interesting and i can't say i disagree with it. your inclusion of your military history and heroes list is impressive. however, as bright as you sometimes appear to be, you seem to have a mental block regarding hypotheticals. if everything you have said is 100% true and factual and if everything everyone else has said is 100% false and fictional-if Jesse admitted to being anti-semitic would you then abandon him? or is there a reading comprehension problem? did you not say or imply that you have been a Jackson supporter for many years? i find it interesting that you made an earlier anti-semitic comment about pulpits (for which you apologized). i asked for moderation for that(before your apology) and then you run to the moderators for getting questioned about supporting a documented anti-semite. i guess you believe as your friend Jackson does, that one can say anything and that a subsequent apology negates it.

"Then again you expect me to talk urban and bow to massa"

That was an unfair attack and completely without basis in fact!

That's okay Helen, this morning I learned, much to my surprise that I secretly am opposed to Colin Powell.

"I am a former Army Officer, I served under Colin Powell as one of his staff Officers."

"... my Uncle is a Federal Judge, my mother had a PhD in History."

Seems to me that when someone cites their background as a means of lending weight to their argument they should be prepared to provide enough detail so that their claims might be independently verified.

On my post above, my intention was to
address the poster, Networker and
not the subject

After Networkers attack above, I just want to make it clear
that I am not a racist as his remark implies.

My only fault in this case was ignorance of Jesse Jackson and
his agenda.

Now, I am better informed, thanks to James, stusi and other posters
on this thread.

Everyone,

This thread has become unproductive and very combative. As it seems nothing will be accomplished by leaving it open, I am locking it.
