After spending a little time here during the various political threads. I have to ask myself how does an average person justify voting Republican. I can see a person with an income of $150,000.00 or more voting that way. Then I turn on the news and watch Bush supporters in their celebration. All I hear them say is a return to morals and integrity in the White House.
Even in these threads all they can say is a return to morals and integrity in the White House. Can somebody give a valid reason for voting for Bush that isn't a Return to Morals and Integrity in the White House.

The Republicans use the "morals" argument to bring in the support of the religious right and the like. They have been supporting the Republicans since Reagan, and the Republicans haven't done squat for them. They fling the "family values" and high "moral" sound bites at them and they swallow it hook line and sinker.
In the last century, the Republicans have represented wealthy interests. However, they found themselves in a continual minority. The Reagan folks got the bright idea to attrack the "moral" zealots to produce a majority, and knew they wouldn't have to actually do anything for them, because there was nothing to do and no way to do it.
My biggest laugh came when it was revealed that the annointed born again christian Ronald Reagan was using an astrologer to set his presidential schedule !! Here was a man who the religious fawned over and he was using seers and the diviners of the planets to run his presidential schedule !! Yet, no one in the religious right refers to him as a blasphemer or satanist. Zealots being led by an idiot with slick handlers, hypocrits one and all.
