Kraft, it was NOT 4 years ago, it was 3 years , 11 months and 27 days!
Now EVERYONE can see how you mislead, twist statements, and LIE!

(Boy, I hope that got me out of answering the question)

just another non-political thread ruined by the childish play of the sandbox club.

Where's cheryl when we need her to tell us why no one can have a conversation about anything here anymore? Oh, yes, it's that same old double standard of theirs.

Linda, you're right. The thread is now ruined because Mingo and I were playing around.

And yes, I wish Cheryl was here. She's great imo.

Once again, KD, you don't see who started what. Mingo and helen started it....you're just another childish tag-along.

Or, Kraft, you could try starting other threads in a desperate attempt to divert attention from the threads where you were made a fool of.....others do it

I was going to comment on my monkey-porn collection, but this thread has already sunk about as low as it can go.

bunni U "however, have a wonderful oil painting of Barnabas Collins" is that the guy from Dark Shadows? Now that would be a great painting to have he really looks the part. My wife loved that soap. OR am I all off base with the character?

Yes, that's right, played by Jonathan Frid.

Bunni, do you know how many books you've read so far?

I couldn't begin to count the number I've read. I began reading before I was three (my older sister taught me, and my mother said books & magazines were my favorite "toys" ), and I have been reading at least one book and more usually 3 or 4 per week since early childhood.

And I rarely get rid of any of the books I buy for my personal use, so I need a lot of bookcases. I weeded my collection for the first and only time 10 years ago when I bought this house--I donated 24 boxes of books to my library and my collection barely showed a dent I spent the next 10 years filling the void they left...

We have so many things I have to "cycle" them. I don't believe any of them are by anyone famous....but you never know with some of the older works.

I, also, cannot afford to walk in a gallery and purchase. But we can barter "art for art" at shows. We have gotten some great pieces by award winning artists that way. We truly believe some of them will be famous, in their own right, someday.

bunni- I understand about the books. I have donated dozens of boxes...especially when I had to move from Hawaii. (I still had over 13,000 lbs with no appliances!) When I remodeled the "office" last year, I weeded out another 6 boxes. Jasmine took most of those, plus 15 years of National Geographics, to Human Services. Children use the magazines to make collages as part of therapy. (They love the pictures!) And, yes, I too have had to partially fill the void.
