I've read most of Reich's books and I like them but she too has the same story line in all of her books, like how many times in the life of one pathologist will she be hit on the head and kidnapped etc..well in her case at least once in every book she writes.
I loved Faye kellerman's books, Fenix, for the Jewish connection.
Jonathan's are excellent, I just read his latest and haven't been disappointed yet.

I usually prefer female authors though.

I have read most of Stephen King's and Anne Rice, but I out grew them.
Mingo do not come home without one of Jonathan Kellerman's books, you will grow to love the characters.
